Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

The end of the month is our next 'Capital One' Cup game... Welcome to life as the fourth striker. (make sure you win if you want more games too, no tame capitulation or I'll be a little bit annoyed)
VIVA EL CITIES

"The adjudicatory chamber of the Ethics Committee ... has banned Mr Joseph S. Blatter ... for eight years and Mr Michel Platini ... for eight years from all football-related activities (administrative, sports or any other) on a national and international level. The bans come into force immediately." - 21/12/2015

He hasn't exactly done anything to deserve a start in the games he has played. He missed a fucking sitter against villa and the 2 against Wigan he fucked up and had the good fortune for the ball to bounce back at him.

He needs to come on and actually looks better than the person he replaced before anyone talks about him starting.

1st one was luck, second was a poke under the keeper, nothing wrong with that.

I've followed him closely since he was 19 in competitive games.

I reckon mine might count for something, even if I haven't watched him train?

I thought that was peculiar comment by Dazby. This lad has played over 100 games in Serie A and has close to 30 caps. I've seen lot of him as well and live for Montenegro. Would be fair comment about someone like Lopes but Jovetic is hardly some teenager. He is 23 and should be close to his prime.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

However as dazby has pointed out, only Doug's opinion matters. So dazby's opinion that only Doug's opinion matters following his logic, doesn't matter.

Doesn't matter, your opinion isn't valid on this thread.

I can vouch for this

Others claim to have spotted him but you, ODub definitely got there first.

After the defender knocked the ball down for him 5 yards out from goals.

It was stuffy and he nearly knocked it out of play.

One of the more bizarre ways to describe a goal.

"Yeah, van Basten's volley v the Soviets wasn't all that, he nearly knocked it out of play."

I agree, nearly knocked it out of play.

Apart from the fact it went under the keeper and into the back of the net, you are 100% spot on.

Not at all. You've seen him play lately? You know how he's gelled with the rest of the squad? How he's settled in the area? How he looks in training and whether he's playing on a par with, or better than Aguero? Because that's whose spot he'd be taking.

The sub appearances I've seen have been nothing special. For someone to demand he start ahead of Aguero he'd have to be showing something pretty special in training. And the only one who attends training is...... Slim? Dub?

I've seen him play once, against Wigan. So can anyone who knows about him (I don't care whether you've seen him on the telly or in training) fill me in on what kind of player he is, please?
Your right leg I like; I've got nothing against your right leg. The trouble is neither have you.
