Negrado, for the amount of good quality hard work - he terrorised their defence today and created room for Sergio too - great first touch a top class performance!

Kolarov and Silva were brilliant today, thought Milner had a good game too and Lescott was pretty decent.

Some good performances especially Lescott one where he pushed his body in front of Lukaku who could have easily done him for pace but went for Milner as he was fully committed and helped neutralised Baines as any sort of threat and that pass to Negredo (unfortunately offside) near the end was Silvaesque. I hope too Milner starts for England next week.

Kolarov and Negredo were close seconds.

Despite the major fuck up for the goal, I also think Lescott had a good game.

Negredo for me, great work rate and all round general play was good. The goal sealed it for me.

Yaya for me. Brilliant assist for the first. Put Zabs through for the pen. When we took control in the second half his foot was all over the ball.

I can't argue with that, he looks a proper player.His blend of class when on the ball and aggressive manner is pretty much what you really want from a striker.

I went for Alvaro but pondered on Aleks Kolarov and David S before I voted . . it was a nice little sanity check to see that all of the voting was in that same group of Negredo / Kolarov / Silva. They were truly excellent weren't they.

Oh, and a message to whoever voted for Joe Hart - Sorry mate, you've voted in the wrong place, this isn't the drop Joe Hart thread this is the MotM vs Toffees thread and you'll be amused to notice that you accidentally, and very comically, placed a vote for Joe Hart as MotM.
