I think he's the same player. Most people's perceptions have changed. This is partly due to him getting a run of games and Clichys form drop.

Agreed, though I'd add to that the fact he got a cut in his head makes him look more committed to the cause. English fans love that kind of shit.

Very true we do - nothing like a head wound to make a guy a better player. I often think of Dave Watson and how well he'd have fitted into the modern game. Imagine Watson alongside Zab and with Kolorov . . . all three of them bleeding profusely from head wounds . . . they'd be unstoppable we simply couldn't lose. We should just bash them on the head before kick off to ensure we get the best out of them.

If we had De Gea and the rags had Hart, we'd be top with a 9 point lead and they'd be in 12th place - that's the difference between a 'good' keeper and a 'top class' keeper - 12 places - think about it.

Under our new manager we are playing a new system. Players are told to do different things in new systems, under new managers.

Some are given more freedom, with an understanding that other players may perhaps cover for them. Other players are told to sit deeper than perhaps they did under their old manager.

This could go on and on but there are so many variables and so much that we don't know with regards to new systems and the subsequent instructions given to players... really we can only tell if we see improvement over a longer period.

So with all that in mind, I merely suggested that this MIGHT be the case with kolarov. It might also be down to self improvement. .. or numerous other suggestions that others made in this thread.

So chill the fuck out and stick to slagging our players off and coming up with fun names for them. Fanandildo I believe is your latest hilarious number?

Excellent.

Let's sign Baines in January and promise him he is first choice. Improve our defence, extra option free-kicks and upset Moyes all for about 15m

No I just wanted to pull you up on it because you're the guy that used to follow me from thread to thread telling me to slag off our players yet could not back it up when questioned on it.

Never thought I'd say this but he is our first choice centre back on current form. He has been excellent in his last 3 matches

Pull me up on what exactly? On my saying that kolarov might have improved under a new system?

Or are you still banging on about "2 games"?

What did I not back up? You slag our players off constantly. The last being the super cool and hilarious nickname for Fernandinho. What was it? Oh yeah... fanandildo.

Backed. Up.

You're just an idiot. Show me where I constantly slag off our players I am asking you to do it, yet you can't. sorry referring to him by a stupid name is clearly not slagging him off at all, nor is it constantly slagging off city players, also considering in the same post I said positive things. Maybe your grasp of English has left you living in Dublin and all but you're like a broken record, now stfu.

My grasp of English has left me living in Dublin?

Oh dear.

Your grasp of English is inspirational to poor folk like me - even the post above oozes with perfect English...as do the vast majority of your posts.

Ah the funny names you specialize in. Fanandildo is a personal favourite of mine out of all the really funny stuff that you post. That is the aim, isn't it? To be really funny and make up funny names. That is your contribution on here, no? I mean, that's what it looks like you're trying to achieve...

Anyway, I don't mind going back and forth with you and explaining myself when you find it difficult to grasp a point I make, but you'll have to be a bit more grateful when I do.

You came across as quite irate last time I did for some reason.

Alternatively, you could just ignore my posts if you find them confusing and upsetting. I really don't mind.

Why are you so upset over that name? I thought we were on the Internet, did not realise everything had to be taken 100% seriously. Only one upset here is you. Because apparently referring to him has fanandildo really has rustled your jimmies. I'm positive you don't actually know what slagging someone off is as you've yet to provide an example, carry on.
