backpass against everton

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

backpass against everton

Postby Wonderwall » Sun Oct 06, 2013 12:24 pm

Dont know if it was mentioned on the tv coverage. It was about 80th minute or so but it was a clear 30 yard backpass to howard and he picked it up. Negredo was going mad at the ref and linesman for about 30 seconds as he couldn't believe they got away with it.

Anyone else see this?

Probably compounds the shocker the ref had.

I noticed that too and couldn't believe the ref completely ignored it

Well, when we're talking about the ref anyway ... why didn't Naismith get a yellow when he pushed Kolarov into Nasty? Kolarov was more than right wanting to beat his albino arse. That sort of challenges are the most cowardly you can make, and he damned sure knew what he was doing.

Because the ref was either a) highly incompetent, or b) a cheating fuckin munich bastard. Delete as applicable. I know what I think.

It is my belief that Naismith is one of the most loathsome, cowardly wretches ever to pull on a football shirt. I could never tire of slamming his head in a door. He makes Robbie Savage look like Mike Tyson. And don't start me off on his dive in the first half.

I seen it, i was sat behind the goal. It should have been and indirect freekick in the box.

To be honest I would go with incompetent. Normally I would choose B. But there were a few things our players got away with that any competent ref would have spotted.

The most blatant backpass i have seen and Negrado was goin mad as soon as Tim Tourettes picked up the ball. But really that ref should be nowhere near officiating in the Prem he is fucking hopeless even Halsey on BTSport said he was out of his depth.

Didn't the ball flick off a City foot (Silva maybe) on it's way to the keeper. Hardly noticeable but enough.

Bingo. Negredo ranted at the lino and then looked at Silva, who shook his head and that was the end of it. The ball was supposed to travel from RB to LB but deflected towards Howard.

So it was a good decision then? And the ref was competent? Well now.

In fairness Naismith was doing it all day, I can recall several situations instead of going in hard, he just gave the play a two-handed shiver, it just took the ref forever to acknowledge it. He should have already been on an yellow when he shoved Kolarov.

Warnock slated the ref on BT on Saturday but he fairly openly stated that he has disliked him for a long time. Quelle surprise!

Teams like Everton are working the ref from every angle, 1st min until the 90th Howard should be sent off for his acting up.The fans are screaming for decisions miles away from the play.

A weak ref is a target for clubs like them,, imagine that ref at Goodison, as for Naismith snidey bastard all game. Even Silva, was getting wound up by the horrible twats. The backpass was missed by officials who were crap and confused.

We've already established that it wasn't a back pass.
