16th october?

Postby city9_4eva » Wed Oct 09, 2013 6:31 pm

Am I being thick? But what is this email I received from the club today?
It says that date then says I'm invited? And has the slogan 'opportunities like this only happen once in a blue moon' I'm excited?!

I thought it might have something to do with 'getting the fans input' regarding the stadium expansion. They might be unveiling it etc?

I got it too. Erm, I have a job. Not sure I can do mornings during the week for City. Be nice for them to tell me I'd won a free box for a game. Whatever.

Yep, a bit bewildering. No doubt it's intended to whet our appetites about something yet to be unveiled. Let's hope it's nothing to do with a fourth kit.

That's the thing. Surely they will provide a bit more communication as to what it is, since the majority of folk will be working at this time on a weds. Fortunately I can be flexible :)

Quite excited, I don't start work till 11 on Wednesdays so will be able to see, watch, hear etc what it is? I wouldn't of thought it was a fourth kit!! That wouldn't be a smart move! I wonder if during the international break the expanded the north and south stand? Lol

Is it the bridge they are starting this week as per MEN to connect across to the new academy/campus?

Here's the image of the invite ... guess every one's got it so must be a general announcement of sorts coming.

Looking on Bluemoon, someone on there has already been down to see the stadium plans etc. think they picked a small selection of fans for an invite. One thing he mentioned was about the £299 tickets and the opportunity for people to move to sit with family etc. They are going to start a waiting list for people who want a ticket or to move.

I suspect it's to do with that, but well done to the marketing department who've created a buzz about something.

Although as it says 'opportunity of a lifetime' they could be looking for someone who can play centre half until they patch Kompany up.

Well, it shows the Bluemoon with a silhouette of the stadium from either the North or South Stand. I'd say that it's a mass update, ensuring all are aware of the impending announcement.

Haven't they signed people up for ViP announcements? Maybe we're not literally invited but virtually invited, if you know what I mean.

If the whisper went around the class from pupil to pupil would "Hope Solo" , become a "'hole full of soap"?

i thought it was to do with moving people from the south stand while the extra tier is being built and an opportunity to purchase season tickets for the next 3-4 yrs at a reduced cost!!

Basically lads my birthday is the 17th and they want you all up there for the pre-match orientation. i.e. what to do when you wake up on the 18th face down in a puddle somewhere in the shetland islands with only a bottle of krombacher to your name!
