Perfect example. Oh boateng is a cunt too, just for good measure!

Kyle walker- how he gets to wear an England shirt is beyond me
Javier Garcia - paid the same price for him as Nigel De Jong, captain slow isn't fit to lace his boots
If we got £5 million back for him everyone would see it as great business

Shearer.

I know he played in the top flight and at his time Newcastle were doing better than they are now, but still a striker of his level should've been playing at one of the top clubs in the world.

Am I right in saying that he won absolutely nothing at Newcastle? That's criminal for someone with his ability.

Obv two rags for me are Beckham and Butt. Beckham is an example of what effort will achieve above talent but I still think if he was as ugly as Steve Bruce no one would have given him a second glance - especially anorexic spice. Talking of Steve Bruce i do think it odd he never got into the England squad even once. Am I bothered? Of those that could or could've done better include the afore-mentioned Lee Hughes who for my money still has scored the best goal against I have seen. Was it west brom at Maine road, and of course Paul Gascoigne who really never did achieve his full potential.

Because he was only shit for us.

He's the weakest link of both teams when I watch them. Ireland as shite as we are had five good chances tonight and he got left for dust by Seamus Coleman.

My impression is that the Bayern Munich fans think he's the new black, in that they think he's a good defender. Best one so far this season in the back four.

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

I think Boateng is a good centre half, but City criminally misused him at full-back. He played last year in a team that won everything, so Id say he can take the higher ground on this.

As for the bullied by Lee Hughes comment? Im afraid that never happened at all. Having gone to the 1-1 draw at Notts, and indeed the replay 5-0 win, I recall Hughes barely registering much of an impression in either game bar illiciting chants od "Murderer" from our fans, and being kicked up in the air by Zabba in the first encounter.

rewatch the game we drew away if possible, its comepletly true, letting the ball bounce before trying to head it aswell Boateng was shocking. We were lucky to get that draw.

Further to reports from Spain Gareth Bale is surely out of his depth at Real. That he's possibly been hiding a back problem is not going to help his cause. For him to be any sort of success he needs to play, play regularly & more importantly play well enough to get attention but not as well as tranny. Tough ask as he wont be the free kick taker, nor will he find shooting positions easy to come by cos if he misses tranny will sulk & moan and at the moment it looks as if the Madrid pkayers have his back

No we werent.

And Hughes was non-factor.

Went to the game and watched it later on the telly as, sad man that I am, I still tape and re-watch City live appearances. Notts scored from a corner and had a decent 10 min spell after half-time, but City and Ya Ya particularly in the 1st half, missed more chances than a blind man playing monopoly over the game.

A draw was the very least we deserved on a sandpit of a pitch. Id suggest you watch it again, and then come back to me with the "runaround" examples Hughes gave Boateng.

I am no fan of Boateng either may I add, but like Milner is now, he is/was chronically misused by City in the wrong position for far too long.

I remember him consistantly missing headers at set pieces, which he still seems to be doing now.

Useless imo.

Kinkladze for me. Should have been playing for a spanish club and on the european stage. I think he sacrificed his career staying with us for too long.

Yup. Thats how he's first choice at centre half for the current best team in europe, who won everything last season. He must be shite then - "shakes head"

The current and former Bayern managers mustn't have a clue.

Yep it's all down to Boateng.

Fuck all to do with the way Bayern play as a team under both managers.

Makes me wonder why we didn't sign Javi fucking Mascherano & play him at cb as he did it for Barca & they were the best team on the planet, oh & Yaya played cb for them in the Champs League final, so why the fuck we don't play him there I have no idea. And of course the rags won the league with Johnny Evans there, so he also is fucking awesome along with Luiz etc.

Your logic is impossible to argue against & no wonder you're shaking your head, I really must be a thick cunt for thinking Boateng defended like fucking shite at set pieces & got sent off the first time we went anywhere near him.

What a stupid cunt I am.

Boateng also seems to get in the German national team as well. Must be bobbins.

I also dont recall Mascherano playing c-half every week for Barca when they won the lot in 09, or Evans playing in an all conquering Champs lge winning or treble winning side, or a top international one either. Whatever - you are picking gnat shit out of pepper, which you seem to often do with anyone who dares not to conform to your views. Guardiola must know sweet fa then? Mascherano isnt shite either, he just isnt a centre-half.

All I said was I think he misses headers & I think he's useless.

If you then start belittling my opinion with internet shite like 'shakes head' & trying to make a twat out of me by listing famous managers, you are going to get it back sunshine.

I repeat; Boateng is shit imo.

Can't be arsed getting into personal insults to prove it.

I don't rate many of the defenders playing for Bayern, or Barca, or Germany, or Spain, or the defensive mids in front of them for that matter.

They are teams who cover for each other. We don't, so Boateng etc have to work harder if they play at City, & their shiteness is more easily identified.

Agree to a certain extent with le Tiss. Awesome player who if playing now would be up there with the Bales, Silvas, Ozils of this world. He could have played in any side & improved it.

However he obviously had his reasons for staying put. Also think jf you were a professional footballer playing for City & were good enough to go to a better club, would you. I've got to say i'd never play for the rags or dippers out of principle. Wouldnt want to live in London so that rules out the cockneys & theres not much then to choose from. Maybe him & his family were settled/happy & didnt want upheavel. That said it certainly cost him an International career & when you look at the standard of some of the players in the current squad its criminal
