I resent the accusation of being anti english put to me. Fair enough I enjoy an argument and quite enjoy pointing out things I know/believe not to be true. If that happens to be English football as often it is on an English football forum then I feel I have a right to make criticisms and not be met with levels of McCarthyism. My Dad and his whole family are English hence why I am a City fan. I had money on England to win on Weds and was pleased they won. Do I want them to win the WC? Not really. Would it ruin my day? Probably not. I've even paid money out of my own pocket once to go to an England game with a mate when I lived in London. You will never see me refer to anyone as a English c**t or use their ethnicity to insult them. Even when standing by my stance will I lower not myself to using derogatory terms similiar sweaty or jock. To behonest I cannot off the top of my head think of one.
My original comments were made to highlight a silly post regarding Polish nationals outside their home country. Then highlight how England have turned into the Fulham of international away days. Fill your boots. This can be backed up with stats and something that other posters have highlighted. That does not make me anti-English.

And we are talking about our fellow Brits here who actually have the same national anthem. The England fans were silent while the haggis was drowning in pints of bitter, sounds like you could do with a few pints to.
Let us put this one to bed shall we.

English is a nationality and so is scottish.
No it is not. You can call yourself England or Nigerian if you like but your nationality is British. England is not a country, it does not even have its own government. You won't find the flag of St George flying outside the United Nation. If Scotland was already it's own country why are we having a referendum on it next year?
