Good point. The only reason that I could come up with for Garcia's place in the 11 was that he's a Spanish speaker. Javi was awful from the first whistle until the last (nothing new). When Moscow had a chance to score, you could be sure that Garcia had been involved in the play. Javi was humiliated on the headed assist on Moscow's loan goal. Then he blew the coverage that should have cost us 3 points in the final minutes.

If we had played a decent club, we'd have given up 4 goals. Where was Micah or Joleon? Manuel got away with one last night - thankfully so.

Will get a better feel for the satisfometer after January. We'll know if we're at Wembley in League cup. We could be on our way in FA cup. We could be in last 16 of champs league. We could be there or thereabouts in Prem closing in on 100 goals.

Just as importantly, how we do in transfer window in regards to the defence. Will we muddle on and run the risk of doing an Arsenal & implode in April & end up with nothing?
Or will we seize bull by horns, sort the defence & have a glorious season winning a couple of pots?

Couldn't Micah have played CB alongside Nasti? Or is he injured again?

That dick Lawro has even noticed that we turn up v 'big' teams, and that's where i am at with it still. Have to wait for a couple of games v weaker oppos to really gauge if things have changed in terms of mental approach. We still looked half arsed v Wet Spam, alarmingly at times.

According to Richards, Pellers told a fib that the scum had won to rile them up for the West Ham game. So theres certainly something not right with the mentality of the players and it sounds like Pellers is realising that (hopefully)

I think Micah is just being a knob tbh. Sherlock Holmes, he isn't.

Pellegrini told them that all the other teams had won, then Southampton equalised at the death, after he told them the 'results'. That's what I recon happened & because it's Utd, Micah thinks it was done on purpose, wheras the Count probably doesn't give a fuck about Utd.

I'm sure everyone has been anxious to hear my opinion and I'm satisfied now. We proved lot of things in Moscow despite the game being ugly. It's tough away fixture and we came with three points.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

After the melt down you had after bayern Munich I'd go easy on the smugness mate ;-).

I'm not being smug at all and can take each game on it's merits.

And that game still fucking gets me, the most diabolical tactical fuck-up I've witnessed for a long while. Now I realise we don't do tactics and hopefully get the players to play at their best I'm a little more subdued. Just like when I got over Mancini's defensive tactics and when I realised Hughes was doing his best but had no hope.

All relative pal and one of the reasons for the above. We went to there's, played better than them in a shithole and ran home with the 3 points. There's nothing really to judge in the game as it wasn't about anything else but taking the 3 points and putting us in a great position to qualify out of the groups. It worked, we won.

I'd actually say we were in a lose-lose position. CSKA have been garbage in the league so we were expected to win but by winning it would be seen as a no-brainer so would leave people taking about the players/tactics etc in a negative way.

Anybody notice the player scores in the MEN? The Rags, who played a team currently in the bottom half of their league and had to qualify, could only beat them with a stuffy own goal and the team got an overall higher points score than a team who travelled a few thousand miles to play on a shit pitch. We ended up with better stats than them, played a better game yet we got a lesser overall score.

Always a no-win game, and that's why the likes of Tyler were all out for the underdog, that's where the story was.

Or they might be Blues who only come on for a rant or not bothered reading the thread since. They may just hate Pellers for taking Mancini's seat or they may hate him 'cos he's not playing their favourite player.

Or, they might just be cunts. Take your pick.

You only have to see the absentees on posting when we win to know who the cunts are , they come out of the floor boards when we lose.

We're playing the sort of football I wanted to see. A couple of disappointing results but only one Mancini style non performance, at Stoke.
However only fourth in the league is slightly worrying. One foot in the next round of the CL is not the biggest surprise ever in that group. And Bayern gave us a lesson.
Reasonably satisfied, as we have already seen more exciting play at home than we did all last season combined, and that was my major gripe.

anyone else think that Pellegrini always visually looks scared and like a fish out of water? everytime they show him on a bench or the touchline he always looks worried that he's going to be found wanting.....the one thing i did like about Bobby was his confidence. yes, he had too much of it but he was always confident that, even if we went down, we'd come back....or at least he feigned like he was sure.

It's called wrinkles. He's old. Get over it.
