Bale just got booked for raising his foot too high and therefore is deemed as a dangerous challenge. So how come its perfectly acceptable to attempt an overhead kick in the oppositions box when at close quarters with challenging defenders?

Saints are already 2 up at halftime.
They really are a completely different team to last year with their new signings.
If they win, they'll end up 3rd with Everton 4th, which makes the City/Chelsea game all the more crucial.

I don't get it. He had some class but has had one good season really. At his age to be good as he's rated he needs to do it week in and out.

I hate Madrid anyway so more fool then buying him at that price and letting ozil go.

Abeeration, I'd ay it was glorious, while it lasted.

true, but still an aberration.

Aberration or not, Stoke fully deserved their lead, as soon as Arnautovic went off it was all over for them, they had nothing in attack from that point on.

Why? You seriously think Everton or Southampton will finish above us this year? The league table as things stands is still relatively meaningless.

really? from what i read it sounded like a Cardiff player was down and they expected Norwich to put the ball out but they didnt and they scored but the ref stopped play...even though he shouldnt have. that's what i read but i couldve misunderstood it.

They've also got a decent squad to back it up, just as Arsenal have. Both teams are playing well but none of them have really had to play any of the top teams yet. It does give them confidence though going into their head-to-head.

On another note, just seen the Rag match and what looked like a kick from RVP on Shawcross. Then, Shitpea goes studs up on Huth but nothing done. After the commotion with referee's, are we getting to the point when they can now give the Rags that little leg-up that they get most seasons?

I was sat, merrily watching them losing on my laptop, when a (rag) colleague called round to see if I had finished preparing all the stuff I was supposed to be working on for that night (I had done fuck all) so I had to hurridly pretend I had been hard at it all day & hid the stream.

When I next got to look at it, the twats had won.

It looked nailed on Stoke would get a 3rd when I stopped watching.
