Obviously we still haven't sorted the defence, but overall we were the better side in our toughest fixture.

Very satisfied with that, particularly after such a tough week.

Joe Hart? Not so much...

The manager's got a great chance to drop him with the Newcastle game in midweek.

I'm starting to be very dissatisfied. He looks clueless at times and visibly stressed on the touchline. It's not looking Great.

I was dissatisfied before, but now I'm bordering on highly dissatisfied.

I know it's still early in the season and there is plenty to play for, but 3 losses after 9 games is very poor form.

The biggest issue I have is that the defence was been woeful since pre-season and he has done absolutely NOTHING to rectify it. We are making the same mistakes week-in week-out. Every time the opposition attacks us, they look like scoring.

Persisting with Garcia, ahead of Lescott or Richards in defence, or today ahead of Milner in midfield, is awful management. I have absolutely no idea how he can think Garcia is good enough.

Our attacking football is excellent at times, but that is useless if the opposition can score relatively easily against you.

At this time, I have little confidence in his ability fix the defence as he has shown no signs of doing so thus far. Resting Hart and giving Pantilimon a run of games, as well getting Garcia and Nastasic completely out of the squad would be a good start.

I'm actually satisfied with our game-play and why not, we play near enough every team off the park going forward. We've just hit a Chelsea team who are classed as our nearest rivals on their own turf, only losing due to some fucked up nonsense.

However, can we put this down to Pellers choices? I like Lescott and think he should be infront of Nasti in games like this. I was also iffy on whether Demichelis should've been risked in such a high profile game, not having played at all. Another change in the back 4 didn't help either.

Also, once we got into the final minutes I was more than happy to take the draw yet seen Zab's darting it up the RW beyond Navas and lost the ball. Although it may not have made any difference it showed that we were still willing to leave the defence exposed.

Little things, I know, but ones that have an affect on the game.

Still satisfied though, we just need to cut out the mistakes.

Its just the back line. needs fucking sorting asap. Everyone could see we needed to buy a top class defender. if he isnt careful it will get him the sack. Personally i really dont want that.

Questions over Pellegrini have yet to be answered. He has not got all the answers yet but he will do given time. Our best bet for a cup now is FA or league cup. Prem will be difficult to win. Realistically we can afford only another 3/4 defeats in next 29 and when we've had 3 in 9 you have to say its unlikely. Once settled defence is in place we'll be flying but i dont think this will happen this season.

4 points from 15 against the likes of Cardiff, stoke, Aston villa, west ham and Chelsea.

We should take minimum, bare fucking minimum, 10 points from that lot and have the squad to take all 15. When will all his people skills and amazing man management come into effect? I thought he was going to get the best out of our squad not turn us back into the fucking joke we used to be.

9 games into the season and we have already lost half the amount of games we lost ALL last season. It's ok though because we might get through the group stage of the CL.........WOOOOO FUCKING HOOOOO.

We haven't even played a good fucking team yet, the rags are gash and Chelsea are a shit counter attacking team. When we go to anfield or the emirates or even st Mary's we will get seriously dicked if we don't get our fucking shit sorted.

Pellegrini is wank and I can't wait for him to fuck off. He looks like a nonce as well.

Pellegrini is making too many selection and tactical mistakes and it is costing us big style ! Most of his mistakes are understandable because he is learning the English Premier League and his squad of players . FFS though it is evident to all and sundrie that WE have the best squad of players by some margin to piss this league !!!! these guys are on huge salaries , how can they get things so wrong ???? Joe Hart has cost us probably 7 premier league points via his sub standard performances in premier league games at Cardiff , Villa and tonight at Chelsea ........ those 7 points would put us TOP of the Premier League !!!!! Our bench tonight at Chelsea was awesome quality ????? no team in the Premier League HAS that strength in depth ?????

Im am frustrated as fuck to what is going on ! how can Garcia commmand a place in the team when we have Negredo , Milner , Dzeko , Navas etc etc etc on the fucking bench ffs ????? and no Lescott ?????
Not really here

Tactics wise I thought he learned something this week as played the 451 away lost of us had asked for.

Player selection still needs some work as it now appears he rates Garcia over lescott and Milner. Nasti too for that matter seems automatic pick without earning it.

I don't think his handling of the back 4 is 'understandable' any more than Mancini's was last season.

Both managers have been intent on trying to implement their own super smartarsed plans, rather than putting together the best defenders & working the shit out of them until they are organised.

Mancini did that years ago, then fucked it up by having tricky plans & picking his favourites, no matter how shit, & this bloke is doing the same.

Just pick the best defenders & defend properly for fucks sake.

Yes the tactics were right, and we were very unlucky but the mistakes in defence were made in the summer 100 m spent and not a decent defender brought in when it was obvious we had/have problems there.

Main difference between Pellegrini and Mancini so far? Pellegrini got a far easier CL draw than Mancini ever did.

The players also like Pellegrini a lot more than Mancini.

13 games in and we cant defend with any confidence, remain completely reliant on an injury prone player, and sit 7th after losing 3 of the first 9 games. Those are the facts. Pellegrini is paid to make this team better and so far Id submit that it isn't any better or worse than it was last year. Over to you Manuel.

Nicked this from another site:

Here's the point's tally after nine games the last 7 seasons

2013/14 16 p
2012/13 21 p
2011/12 25 p
2010/11 17 p
2009/10 18 p
2008/09 13 p
2007/08 19 p

Pellegrini is 3 points better than Hughes in 2008-2009...
"I used to be 6 foot 2 with curly hair, look what it's done to me"

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

When you consider theamount of resources put into the team and amount of strengthening, that list makes very poor reading.
