He looked the part tonight, I wouldn't fight it.

Looked very composed and as someone said in the other thread I like the way he tried to get us up field quickly, and he caught a few crosses!

His stats stand up, sure he has only let one goal in, in his last 7 games. He comes for crosses, he makes saves and he wants to get us moving all the time. Give him a chance I say. IMO it's the boot up the backside Hart needs.

He was solid, made some good saves, caught the ball in his hands regularly and the distribution - often quickly from hand to feet - was a pleasure to see.
If we had De Gea and the rags had Hart, we'd be top with a 9 point lead and they'd be in 12th place - that's the difference between a 'good' keeper and a 'top class' keeper - 12 places - think about it.

Panti always looks and acts composed to me, his footwork is very good and his distribution is in another league to Joe, I don't see anything weak or missing in his game. We need to see him in high pressure games, but at the moment he is a much better keeper than Hart, he may well be a better keeper than Hart even when Joe is on form. It is a close call, at the moment it is a no brainer.

As a fan I just felt more secure with Panti in goal tonight.Good presence and got out quick for that Cisse save.He does seem to come for crosses better than Joe as you say and made them look easy but would Joe have gone for them. It would be too cruel to not play him on Saturday..

I've never been a panti lover, but it's time to see how joe reacts to fighting for his place.... He has a problem that can't just be washed away with soap and water

Because I reckon he's Pellegrini's man and the only way he'll make Hart sit on the bench is if he brings in a world-class 'keeper. I just can't see him replacing Hart with Pantillimon in league games.

Pelligrini has a big call to make. Several ways to look at this. If he drops hart surely that will damage harts confidence further, if he leaves panti out that would be unfair on him. It's one thing talking about the decision, it's another thing making it.

This as well as other post. Joe needs to know competition, he needsbto keep on his toes and be the best. But who knows, panti played very well tonight and just might be THE ANSWER

Yes, his distribution of the ball is far superior to Hart's.
