Maybe people above pellers are telling him to play certain players like nasti cos of his age or hart because they have convinced themselves he's one of the best keepers in the world and don't want the bad press. England's number one my arse.

Stick him in th reserves if he starts getting arsey - see how his career unfolds then ... this will be as much a test of the type of man he is as well as wether Pellers has any balls to do it.

As i said, i know Pants since he was in the romanian third division at Bacau. I have always been against him because he was a really incredible keeper until he missed the transfer at Juventus and then all went to shite. He became complacent and made many mistakes at Timisoara.

With that said, Pants has grown since he came at City like no one did and that is because of Massimo Battara, the goalkeeper coach that we had when Bobby was here. His crossing defending was absolutely shite and now he looks very very very confident.

At his height, his reflexes are almost perfect, we saw that last night and many times. With this said, he is better than Hart at this moment. Simple

However, i do not think he will start. Joe is England”s number one and what effect would have if he will become a reserve when the World Cup is around the corner? Imagine Pants doesn”t fit even in the top 3 keepers that Romania uses at this moment because the manager has other plans.

I hope and pray that he will be used with Norwich and maybe, just maybe, Hart will finally understand he has been shite because football wasen”t his priority anymore.

Got to be at the docs in the morning so the best I might see is 30 minutes at the start but I would safely say that Joe will be out as usual working really hard alongside Pants who does the same.Joe is and always has been a good hard trainer.

Nobody will be more disappointed than he is about the mistakes made and he will work on things with the coach.Not that easy to work on when to go out and when not to when long balls are played over the top so it would be interesting to see if anything close is worked on.

For me Panti is a much improved keeper than he was 12 months or so ago . He is playing with supreme confidence , he commands his penalty area and his catching the ball from set pieces / corners is effortless. Joe Hart now has a huge burden on his shoulders (no pun intended) as the whole footballing world is watching very very closely for his next fuck up which must put huge pressure on him . Panti on the otherhand has nothing to lose ....... he more than deserves a run in the team especially after last nights performance and has already been posted Joe Hart needs a proper kick up the arse !!!!

Don't suppose there is really that much point working on it.

It is mostly about applying what they have already been taught such as 'don't let the ball bounce; head it out' 'don't come charging off your goal line when a defender looks like he may head the ball back' & 'don't head the ball in the direction of your own goal when there is doubt'. Both already know all that but cracked under pressure.

Last night I was delighted he played and the look on his face at keeping the clean sheet showed me he is hungry for more.

Joe has been a good servant but is now in a different place and his pride/ego could kill our aspirations for the title this year.

Corrigan was sent to work with Harry Gregg (I think) and was out of the team for a long while. Keith McCray (sp?) took his place.

The scrutiny is not the same as Joe's time, Hart, is making so many odd mistakes over a very long period he has survived as a result of circumstances, rather than return in form, TBF he has been average for 18months with some good moments mixed in with regular mistakes. On JL I think the same if he is in form then same rules must apply. Not my fav player but a good partner to VK, The stats prove it. All top teams over history have had surgery when needed maybe this the solution, big players go.

I am not saying that Joe is a bad keeper but Costel deserves his chance now. Getting dropped for the cup final last year must have been a kick in the teeth and if he left during the summer he would have been well entitled to. he stuck around and he has proved his credentials. Also, I would like to see Joe out supporting him if he does start this weekend. shows a bit of sprit.

Am now in two minds over this. Hart has possibly dropped too many clangers this season to continue to warrant his place. Panti by comparison has played twice, albeit against inferior sides but has done what was asked of him and done it well. He has earned his place. This much i think most posters agree on.

Where it gets sticky for me is if we assume Panti takes Harts place this Saturday, how long does he keep the spot? Do we allow Panti to make 7/8 poor errors resulting in goals as Hart has done before dropping him? Do we bring Hart back in after a couple of errors from Panti? Do we bring Hart back in after a couple of games regardless of how well Panti has done. Lets be fair. Hart is a big presence in dressing room and his not playing could go both ways with players. He is Englands no1 after all (probably by default at moment) but as such he isnt going to be happy at not playing. If we drop Hart and bring him back in couple of games regardless of Pantis performance how will this benefit anyone? Panti knows he's no chance & it sends a message to other high profile players they are safe. Hart also then knows he's safe and returns to complacency knowing he will play come what may. Do we think Panti is good enough to make the spot his own, ie be good enough to retain jersey on merit for rest of season? If we do then great but its probably bye bye to Hart but if we dont are we better served in perserving with Hart? Publically back him, give him some love & build his confidence back up.

Think this is actually a huge decision for Pellegrini and as such i reckon Hart will keep spot on Saturday

The rags won the league last season and they spent large periods dropping the gay and then putting him back in. They did it a few times from what I can remember.

It's only time in recent years I can remember this being done by a title winning side?

If Corrigan is around then that is exactly the sort of person Hart should be seeking out and sitting down over a couple of pints with.
Pants to start for the next 5 games - including League Cup , that being our best chance of a pot this season - then after that, we'll see.
