This Weeks Other Games

Postby Beefymcfc » Sat Nov 02, 2013 12:35 pm

Well, the weekends games kick off in 15 minutes and will probably see Chelsea go top of the shop. Some interesting games inbetween but the game of today has to be the last game where we'll see the top 2 go at it. Can't both of them lose?

Today

Newcastle v Chelsea 12:45
Fulham v Man Utd 15:00
Hull v Sunderland 15:00
Stoke v Southampton 15:00
West Brom v Crystal Palace 15:00
West Ham v Aston Villa 15:00
Arsenal v Liverpool 17:30

Tomorrow

Everton v Tottenham 13:30
Cardiff v Swansea 16:00
In the words of my Old Man, "Life will never be the same without Man City, so get it in while you can".

Yeah, I really can't see Newcastle getting anything from this game. But one can always hope.

The Toon look very poor, can't even string 2 passes together. Their makeshift back line looks dodgy to say the least and it's only numbers that are stopping Chelsea from penetrating at the moment.

But that seems to be the Toon plan today and it's working well against a very flat Chelsea side. You would expect Chelsea to work things out and win but you never know Newcastle might just have that one moment that matters.

Here's hoping mate, I don't even mind them sticking 10 behind the ball if they can get something out of it.

Just having a look at Leicester who are beating Watford and it's not a game we should be taking lightly. They're comfortably in 2nd in the Championship and have only lost 2 games so far this season.

Great result if they hold on for a few mins, shows what a good win it was on Weds (and a bad loss it was at weekend)

Win today and we are a point behind them and people think we are in crisis. I will take that.

Well well who would have expected that result.ruined my predictor result, ruined my fantasy team but Chelsea didn't deserve anything.Just a flat performance from start to finish. Newcastle did well for a crap team.

Such a strange season and this is why people need to stop getting so carried away when we lose. Anyone can beat anyone this year. Really. I don't think there's a man in football I dislike more than Maureen ..
