The fact that the going rate for players is so high makes him an even more impressive purchase. Cavani or Falcao would've cost three times as much and Negredo has been nothing short of brilliant for us.

As for Fellaini, I still think he's a good player. If those knobs had paid the £23m buyout clause, it would probably have just about been good business. I think he will do well there eventually and is a definite upgrade in what they had at CM previously (Zinedine Cleverly and Pamela Anderson).

Yeah hes an upgrade but they thought they could just bully everton into handing over fellaini and baines. Good to see them get the shitty end ofthe stick.

Nb:mind you the fee for Negredo must be seen as a steal because Seville seem to bein realdoggy-do financially..they really had a fire sale in the summer...although im sure they must have re-invested some of the cash...practically sold half a team

Nobody can be that stupid, nevermind 2 of them. Sounds like a joint wind-up to me to get under Pellers skin or at least endear themselves to the plastic Rag legions.

Cocks.

It's getting more bizarre by the week. And more desperate.

I wish I could find the presser with mancini where he was actually attacked by one rag journo.

Basically the journo was saying the rags had so many long term injuries. Mancini was saying "we all have injuries" but this particular cunt just kept at him, listing them off and saying "not compared to Manchester united" and such like.

That press conference was the single worst bit of manager interviewing I've seen and it highlighted exactly where the media's loyalty lies.

Anyone any ideas on how to find it? I presume it was pre derby either last season or season before?

Dunno who put the comment about the Beast/Jesus signing being "slightly less good" as Navas taints it in terms of value for money but I think that's harsh.

I think it's taking some time for Jesus to find a way of working what he does best in the PL but I'm pretty positive he'll come good.

If he can perform for Spain against international teams "parking the bus" then he will be able to do the same in the PL.

My view is that we need to find a way to get him involved in the final third which is not always involving Zabba pushing right into his space and giving him the ball with 3 men around him.

Some angled balls behind the fullbacks of similar are what is needed for him to run onto IMO or him linking up on the edge of the box with nasri/silva/aguero

I can't remember most of it & it was a 'you had to be there' type of situation, but he did analyse & dissect each aspect of Fellaini's game, his suitability to do any particular given job in a Utd midfield, his transfer fee & the perceived reasons for signing him.

Re JR & Blake Carrington discussing Jesus Navas btw; I also agree.

Just watched ashley young's most despicable dive to date.

Then watched that fat cunt brian sssswansssson interview gollum and not once did he quiz him on it. Instead he put a lovely slant on a sending off and a shite result.

If that was us...

I'm often inclined to think people get carried away too easily oveur representation in the media but just litened tsay that we weren't ruthless enough, and then some journalist gets brought in to focus on the likelihood of Aguero being sold and bang on about'the Joe Hart situation'. Didn't replay the Ya Ya round the corner skills, or focus on how amazing some of the football was, which would certainly have made better television on a football show, you'd think.
