If Messi wasnt around he would be considered one of the greatest ever imo. He and Messi are streets ahead of the rest. Both have got a goal a game over the last 4/5 seasons. To do that in one season is immense. To do it over a sustained period of time is greatness.
He is that good i reckon if he went to an Everton or Newcastle or Southampton or WBA they would challenge seriously for the title just for the number of goals he scores

Good point and might be inclined to agree. If i had to choose 1 to have in my team think i'd go for Tranny as his all round game is better. He could play cf and lead the line better than Messi. Tough one though as you could argue for Messi all day long as well

As much as it pains me to admit, he is a pretty incredible player now. Its amazing just how good he became.

I'd take him at City in a heartbeat.

I disagree with anyone who says he is better than messi.

Messi has the best technical ability and for that reason is the best footballer. He's more coordinated with the ball at his feet than 95% of players are without it.

Ronaldo, though, is a powerhouse. Play him on either flank or up top through the middle and he's impossible to handle. He can play the role of provider or provi...dee(?) and can change a game in a number of ways.

It's almost unfair that Tran keeps finishing second in WPOTY. If he wasn't Messi's direct contemporary he'd be winning every time, be it ten years ago or ten from now.

Two players of the rare Pele/Maradona standard have come around at once. We may not see another one for decades.

Seriously though what a player. Remember one piece of skill he did at ours lest year and just left Vinny flat on his arse like a schoolboy defender.
He's an all rounder. Free kicks, pace, dribbling, great in the air, great at finishing and shooting from distance, two footed.
Would love him here.

I only support one club, which means I only really hate one club...and Liverpool, self righteous cunt supporters, so Real Madrid only affect me when we play them in the CL.

Inbelievable. Again. To get hat-trick away from home in such an important game is outstanding. He is a player to move heaven and earth for to try and sign

Really. 37 goals in 28 games this season. We thought same about Tevez & he was a great signing.
