Richards was pullin a defender out of position so Navas had to deal one on one and the central area was not too crowded. Rest he was awful, zaba should have started

C'mon lads we've had a bad day and I am gutted but it's still far too early to give up. We have the resources and the basis of a great team( not including Garcia) to turn this around. City Till I Die. I believe.

Love to have the faith and belief, but this is going on a long while and no sign of it improving in the short term. Our defending as a team is awful, no signs of it improving. Three of our four central defenders are average and the other one is very injury prone. No time to fix that.

This is the first time this season I've really started to feel like we have let the league slip away. The defeats until now hurt, but this one is just far more depressing. I think its because its hard to see the pattern changing, we seem determined to have horrible away form and its killing us. If it hasnt killed us already.

What hurts is I have no explanation for it, I can't figure out why it happens. Man for man we are the best team in this league, and by a distance I feel. We should be right up there with Arsenal, but we've shot ourselves in the foot so many times now I'm beginning to think it might be getting too much and beyond us to recover.

The manner of how we are fucking this up is what hurts.

Losing to them 1-0 four seasons in a row is really unbelievable. Nothing more "typical city" than that. ffs.

If we were behind Ferguson's Utd & had a much worse run in, the league would be over.

Behind anyone else, with similar fixtures, no chance is it over.

Its not over, but we are getting closer to the point where we just can't afford many more mistakes. But we have 27 games left, so mistakes are still going to be made.

Started average then went to poor after the goal, started second half average but with a bit more threat, then had a lot of pressure from the right in last fifteen minutes. Couple of saves from their keeper but mostly disappointing, especially as other games went for us. Sunderland fans on way out saying last few minutes had been worrying, but I could have told them they would be safe.

Back to hotel to watch end of rags vs arse then in work in Newcastle tomorrow with Geordies who will be full if their win. Bring on the FIB

Think pellegrini has to take the blame for that starting line up, looks like top 4 might bevat risk this season, we are on course to lose a minimum 12 games, I dont have much hope for southampton and sawnsea away, fucking league all but over in november.

League is over now. Losing 4 after 11 games is too many. I wouldn't normally concede this early but in my heart i can't see us doing it now.

It's more than just a bad day. The league is slipping away, and we won't improve in time, we will be playing catch up fighting for 4th place if were lucky, as far as league goes this season is a write off for this team playing like this.

We CAN still win the league. There are 81 points still left to play for with games against rivals still to be played.

Playing like we have done today we WON'T win the league. We will scrape into top4 on away form. If we improve away and win games we dominate instead of gifting teams wins we will still do it. I am not convinced we will
