Typical Pellegrini

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Was thinking the same. Every single post since the Everton win by NQDP has been about Pellegrini or non-footballing issues. Very odd for the most prolific poster on the board (with approximately 15% more posts than the next-highest-poster) to not bother posting about 2 league wins, 2 CL wins (one of which saw us progress through the group stages with 2 games to spare), a LC win and a defeat against one of our main challengers...

No, it wasn't a bell end thing to write.

I'll tell you what a massive bell end thing to write is...
that you're"too busy" to post when we win and time just seems to present itself when we lose and it suits your clear agenda.

Fucking sad.

I never expected you to be man enough to admit that it was fucking stupid thing to say. So no surprises there.

And if you'd actually be capable of talking about football, which we both know you are not, you could perhaps point what is it exactly that is wrong with what I said. But like I said, we both know you are not.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

As long as I've had the displeasure of reading your drivel, you have had an agenda and put people in boxes based on your agenda.

How come everyone knew you would make an appearance now? You're annoyed because I predicted you'd be on, posting prolifically because you have a new agenda.

You carry on like you can debate football. Pat yourself on the back if you like.

I know you long enough to know I hold no respect for your views on football, so why would I bother debating it with you.

Why indeed would you post on a topic like this?

As i said, he needs to get the dead wood from the team out. The office stuff that we had went aol after we won the title and with Bobby brought many idiotic players that have no room at a middle team, nevermind us.

Imho his transfers this season were really good: Fernandinho, Negre, Navas, etc. But he has two defensive midfielders that are a joke: Rodders and Garcia, tbe best players are always injured and so on.

City was stellar at times this season, even when we lost. I am satisfied of what he did, he will understand how are things in the premiership and how different is from La liga and will get that sorted, however, he must bring some players in like the other ones he brought this summer.

We must understand that i think we are at that point where we need to change the lines. There are at least 5 players that are complacent and we need to bring some new boys who are hungry for titles.

PS: His first eleven choices were sometimes a joke. Away from home, imho, you must use your best eleven. ALWAYS.
You can use the kind of Kolarov, Garcia, etc at home with Sunderland, Hull, etc, but never away. Not in this lifetime

So what have you got to say about us doing better in our head to head's so far this season as opposed to last season's corresponding fixtures? Not to mention doing better in league cup and chumps league?

The last time Pellegrini was manager of a genuine title challenging side, he got 96 points, so I would imagine 'typical Pellegrini' will be an average between that season & where we finish in this one.

Which at the time was Real Madrid's highest ever league total. Mourinho has since topped that, but that was still some feat.

I like Pellegrini very much, but those facts have no importance here.

In Spain all the teams are Barcelona”s and Real sparring partners.

Two pellegrini threads is a little bit silly.

Could a mod merge this waste of bandwidth?

So we just judge him on Valencia & Malaga but skip Real Madrid ?

Are we including the 3 title winning sides in 4 seasons at 3 different clubs before he went to Spain, or do we skip those as well ?

Again, i am a fan of Pellegrini and i KNOW he is the man for the job, but as i said those are not examples. Yes, we must judge him of how good Villareal was, how good Malaga was, how good River was with him and so on, but not Real Madrid. Not to succede at Madrid to be in the top 2 you must be worst than Bruce or Di Canio. Fact.

You can compare him with other Real Madrid managers, whether his 'typical Pellegrini' style meant less points. It didn't.

If you think that there will be more than 1 team ahead of us, then yes.

One thing antii has dead right is that pellers is a gunslinger who will win or lose. None of these draws. How will that philosophy fare for city? I'm anxious to find out.

This is none other than Anti's way of having a crack ay Pellers.

In fact, lets go all the way and say 'Pellegrini Out'.

Any thoughts?
