So if we can draw or beat Sunderland, our bogey team for the past couple of seasons, will that be enough to sway you?

I can see why you don't bet dazbi.
Seriously though I had wanted to say yes to this.
I'm sick of us gifting goals to poor teams.
If it wasn't such an open field we would be out of the title now, as it is there is still plenty of time as long as Pellegrini starts to make special arrangements for away games v crap teams. The simplest would be an old school DM who just sits there to read what long shot chancer balls the no-hopers are going to lob in at the defence and get to where it will land before any other City payers do.
If anyone thinks I'm joking, I'm not. Good teams try to play up to our goal which we can organise for as it builds, shit teams just lob a hopeful, preferably bouncing ball in, with at least one player chasing like fuck and we turn into a pub team.
It looks like individual errors, it isn't, it is not setting up the team to expect that kind of play and therefore know what the roles are if it happens and total lack of practice dealing with stuff like that in training.
Pellegrini saying nothing is wrong. He really needs to come down from the mountain top and wise up and take old fashioned English direct football seriously or we will continue to lose games to no-hoper teams all season. I am seriously starting to think this is his blind spot.
I like the bloke, I seriously want him to do well with us. I wouldn't be surprised if we beat Bayern in Munich, equally go and fuclin lose at Palace.
If Pulis could be a guest manager every week for a different team v City away, we would lose the fucking lot.

Of the 7 teams above us, we've only played 3, 2 at home, so we can't complain we've had a hard start. Due to the other results, we're not out of the title race yet, but we can't afford many more slip ups away and none at home.
On the grounds he's still learning about the PL, he's done OK, but he has to do better, or the whole project could be in trouble - would Aguero stay without CL football? Yaya? Silva?

None of them are any good. Why can't we afford any slip ups away from home or at home ?
Why are people assuming that we can't beat any of these teams or that they won't drop points ? Were we that much worse than Chelsea or Utd ? Did Arsenal lose at home to Aston Villa ? Did Chelsea lose at Newcastle & just need the ref to rescue them v West Brom ?
Where are you lot getting the evidence from, that we can't lose games ? I expect us to lose games & I expect them all to lose games. If Arsenal lose a couple more than us, it's evened out. If they lose to us & draw one, that's 4 points.
Can we not stop with this bollocks ? None of you know who is going to beat who this season, all teams have got fuckups in them, including us & none look like solving it in a hurry.

You're right. The worst start to a season in the last ten years, which is as far as my fag packet research goes. The following is a Table of Tables based on the top team after 11 games:

05/06 Chelsea 11 10 1 0 28 6 22 31
