Isn't that further "punishment" for City.

It's obviously a shit sanction but at least it acknowledges that there is an issue.

This is following the new guidelines set out at the uefa meeting in june. If they are found guilty again its a full closure. I suppose you must follow the new guidelines even if they are a pile of shit in the first place.

No point getting arsey over it, we know they are a corrupt joke of an organisation. We need an interpol task force to investigate them and a whole new regime......

I reckon there's a few countries all over this.

Their next home game, not the next game.

To be honest it's a 1000000000000 times better than the reaction they gave when Porto did it to us.

Yes. As I recall we got a bigger fine for being late out for the second half.

Very true. At least they have a procedure in place now, when every link in the chain actually does their job.

only if we have no chance of catching Bayern, which we won't if they win in Moscow.
Never criticise a man until you've walked a mile in his shoes.
That way when you do criticise him you'll be a mile away.
And you'll have his shoes.

Why is that? What's the GD now? Surely if that top spot is in our mind, we'd try and score a few against Plzen and not play reserves ...

If we win our last two games it's all about goal difference.

I want City to really hammer Bayern for three reasons

1. Like United and the 6-1 thrashing, it will be great to tonk them on their home turf and do wonders for us. Send signals around Europe.

2. I'm gonna be there, just like the 6-1 thrashing.

3. I like using the word 'Gedemütigt', like another lovely German word 'Begriffstützig', it has a certain onomatopoeic 'Klang' to it.

If we finish level with Bayern it goes on head to head before goal difference which means we'd have to beat them by three goals on their own turf.

But if we beat them three one then it will be about overall goal difference, right?
Sure, a big ask but I've seen stranger things happen in football.

Having said that tho, that is playing against the odds and with the way we are playing in the league I'd put priority on the league matches around the last two remaining group games

Yep, exactly.

I agree, we should prioritise closing that gap in the PL now and rest our key players in them CL games.

So our only real hope was CSKA pinching a draw in the cauldron of Moscow . There's a hole in my bucket...
