I do deem it relevant. As if anything it was a staunch criticism of Pellegrini that he hasn't improved our away form. That's one of his tasks this season and so far he's failing in that respect.
To justify his appointment, then he surely has to be an improvement on the last man, which was Mancini. And away from home, he's shown no improvement in the league so far.
So yes it was relevant. Yet I love how you were so, so keen to interpret it as a dig at Mancini, which it clearly wasn't.
