Navas: 2 goals & 1 assist
Aguero: 2 goals
Milner: 1 assist
Yaya: 1 assist
Fernandinho: 1 assist
Negredo: 1 goal

Not a bad haul for our front 6. Shame that Fern fluffed his chance for his first MCFC goal

Brilliant, brilliant result.

Result was the most important thing today, but we have to say 'what a performance', especially 2nd half.
Negrado, Aguero, Nasri and Navas were superb and so were the rest.

Not sure about holistic mate, wasn't one of the requisites to bring the youth through.

Great game though and played to perfection. Let them have the ball in the middle when they had a man over and get them on the break with good football. Once they went 2 upfront, change tac and play decent football.

2nd time in the head-to-head history 6 have been scored by a team in this fixture, the first was a 6-2 win for City back in 1962 which also makes this our biggest ever win against Spurs. It was also our 50th league win against Spurs to their 48.

And the big winners today were Newcastle, who moved up a spot without kicking a ball.

The officials seem to be ignoring the rules in order to keep 11 men on the pitch against us at the minute.

Not looking forward to that one after long and tough visits to Saints and Munich (Brom makes the 3rd in a row within the space of 10 days). If we beat Plzen then we might just go all out to beat Bayern while Arsenal have 2 homes before a trip to Napoli.

I think I'd prefer to rest players in the CL than go all out and possibly have to rest them for the Prem.

Defensively we were ok today against a team like Spurs who have a lot of the ball. One of Zaba's better games so little threat down his side.Demechelis I thought started poorly but got better as the game went on and the better center back was clearly Nasti. Clichy was ok but that's where their potential threat was with Walker backing up Lennon Not playing Townsend was a weird one!

Yaya had a quiet day today but helped with the assist for that brilliant team 4th goal.Fernandinho was top class all the way through and it would have been great for him to score that sitter.Navas was superb and worked damned hard too helping Zaba close down that side. And our attacking play at times was a delight to watch with everyone involved doing great.MotD 2 should be worth a watch but I expect it will be mostly about Spurs being poor.

According to the media 'experts', every team that we've put to the sword this season, have been woefully poor and, seemingly, nothing to do with City's excellence.

The only side we slaughtered which didn't receive that 'accolade' was The Scum - but then they couldn't say that about their own beloved team, could they.

Good to see Fernandinho settling down in the side now and starting to produce some fine performances.
