Or you wait until after the rush by applauding the team off, go round the shop, have a drink etc and let the crowds ebb, simple really.

Yes yes, I know you've all got some stupid reason why it won't work, but if the car parks were at the bus/tram/train stops people would park and ride. You drive to the car park, not to the ground. Works brilliantly here. None of our major sporting grounds (that I'm aware of) have a car park.

Oh no, a 30 min wait. What on earth do you have to get back to so bad???

Here's an idea - have a conversation with all the other City fans around you. Or maybe even have a conversation with your kid (crazy, I know).

My lads loved staying to the end, walking out with the rest of the Blues, it's part of the City social. Usually you'll find the shitbags leave early because they don't want to walk past the away fans, until we get to the big games where they prefer to stay because of the strength in numbers. Nothing's changed.

My lads were always beside me and never had a problem. Now, I'm probably more glad that they're beside me (huge fuckers), just to keep me in check ;-)

What time do we leave when it snows? For me, if a game was even thought of being called off for snowing, I'd hit the roof. Soft cunts!

I'm the last one who is in a position to chastise those who leave early, because I don't go week in, week out.

What I will say is that it's getting worse and seeing a half full stadium celebrating a SIXTH goal go in against top opposition screams out of the tv that city fans just aren't that arsed. Which is a shame, because any of the ones I've met have been the most passionate of all football fans.

It's your choice if you want to add to us looking like the most ungrateful fans in europe, but it's very very sad to see.

I'm the same mate, you pays your money and you takes your choice but what gets me the most is that although you only see the East Stand half empty, the supposed die-hards in the SS have usually ficked off before them!

Everybody has the right to do their own thing but they're the 1st to moan when they don't get tickets for the Big game.

Maybe we should give loyalty for staying to the end, rather than just holding a ST for a few years?

Don't blame you mate. Nothing worse than sitting waiting for the lights to change when you leave.

Don't even care if you're fishing.

You're not a supporter. Not even close. You're just someone with an hour or so of free time (but no more) every once in awhile.

Plastic? That would be a compliment. You're a soggy cardboard "fan". Feel bad that for your kid that he has to attend the games with you.

Never had to wait more than 20 minutes funnily enough.

Yet when i leave around the 87th minute, of most games, no one ever seems to have anything to say to me about it. Not a single person has ever said anything about it to my face. Not even a snidey comment after I have walked past. When I used to sit in 110 no one ever said anything. Now I'm in the family stand no one says anything.

I learnt my lesson a few years ago......always left a bit early until i missed Elano's screamer of a free kick against Newcastle.....never left early again
"If we fire our manager after just one bad season - We'll become Chelsea"
"If we think we can fix the problem by buying expensive players - We'll become City"
"If we remember the good times to entertain us during the bad times - We'll become Liverpool"

So, keep calm and do it the United way

"We invest in young players, That is what we are good at — we’re not like other clubs who can spend fortunes on proven goods. We know that Manchester City are going to pay stupid money, pay silly salaries and all that. We can’t do anything about it. We concentrate on what we can do to try to bring players in for the right reasons. We invest in those who will be with the club for a long time, who will create the character of the club, who will create excitement for our fans. We are very proud of that and we are going to continue that way" - Alex Ferguson 14th May 2012
