Florentino Perez cosies up with our Sheikh last Sunday in Abu Dhabi - Di Maria - Coentrao- Pepe - Ramos - Isco- Khedira

or could it be a two way transaction involving our number 16?

Why do people try and read the worst into all things City. As he is as much a fan as most of us (I'm convinced some posters on here are rags trying to cause disruption), I can't see him selling the main man, more likely trying to sell them some oil or even timeshares in the new F1 development!

Casillas. That is all
Never criticise a man until you've walked a mile in his shoes.
That way when you do criticise him you'll be a mile away.
And you'll have his shoes.

Not a chance of Sergio leaving. We are not in the business of selling players we want to keep.

Nobody has a clue what the hell they were talking about so its pointless guessing.

Can you imagine Perez being entertained by John Wardle? No, me neither. The photo itself shows how far up the greasy european pole of the football hierarchy that we have climbed.

Shirley they wouldn't be meeting about a transfer? That'd be left to Txiki and Pardeza. It's gotta be something more significant.

Let's get this in perspective - that photo was posted by the Sheikh on instagram - do you think he's the sort of person to go making secret deals then blowing the whistle on himself?

Florentino Perez has been in Abu Dhabi these last few days for professionla reasons, as President of ACS, a company which is carrying out a series of works in the country. During this visit he has met with Mansour bi Zayed, brother of the President of the UAE, Emir of Dubai and owner of Manchester City.

The meeting was revealed by the Sheik himslef, who soon released the photo in the social networks. The motivation for the meeting is unknown, although rumours have flown around as soon as it became known. The most common name is Iker Casillas. The Real captain has been linked with City ever since he got put on the bench and the meeting has revived rumours of a possible transfer.

The last few weeks the British press has insisted in this story a lot, reporting that Manuel Pellegrini is pressing the owners of City to sign Casillas in January. Something which at the moment seems impossible because, if Iker goes, it would only be in January.
