I still think that the scum will be top three, along with us of course. If I had to bet on the positions right now I'm afraid to say I'd go Arsenal, God's own, Scum.

To be fair Beefy, it's what they do best. They often get far more than they deserve because they never give in. They have help from officials of course, but they do seem to grind out results when they are not playing well. After the 6-1 i think they won 6 or 7 games 1-0 after that when they were rubbish. Its their mentality and to be honest i wish we had a little bit of that in our DNA.
They will be there or thereabouts at end of season. You can count on it

I really, really hope Shrek can play half this well for England in the Summer.

From the BBC website:

"Two Wayne Rooney goals earned Manchester United a point at White Hart Lane as they fought back twice to deny Tottenham a much-needed victory. "

What a bunch of heroes the scum are, fighting back to earn a point. Had that been us we'd have read:

"Title hopefuls City dropped another two points, needing a dubious penalty decision to rescue a barely deserved draw."

I'm not sure this season mate. The Rags do scrape the points and usually, if it's a scrappy game, they'll get a leg-up from the referee's. However, even with that in mind I'm not sure they've got anything near what it'll take to get above us, Chelsea or Arsenal. For all that's been said about Arsenal they're doing the business. Yes, they may lose against some of the top teams but they are pummeling (bit strong, maybe) the lesser teams. Chelsea have a great squad only let down by the lack of strike power but their attacking forwards more than make up for it. Us, I can only see getting better and if Pellers gets a settled backline then I think we'll push on, away from home also.

Ha ha ha, come on Hull.

Not a chance mate. Wiggy ony turns up to get the sponsorship rewards whist answering to his masters, the Jock mafia.

As some of us said pre season; without Rooney Utd were utterly fucked. RVP is nothing compared to him. He is just a striker. Rooney is their heartbeat.

AWFUL goalkeeping there.

The commentator here said an interesting stat, apparently so far this season Prem has seen more goals from direct free kicks than most Prem seasons get during the whole season..and we've only just reached December!

If he did though, England's chances would be far greater ( not that that's saying much).
Probably England's only real top quality player, now Gerrard and Lampard appear to be over the hill.
We all know he's a cunt but when it comes down to it, he's a wonderful player and when on form there are few better. Without him this season, Rags would struggle to make the top half.
He's not played well for England since he was 17 at Euro 2004 though.

I always felt that Taggart had a lot to do with that. We all know that he keeps players back from internationals and it's no different with Wiggy. Alls it takes his a few words in his ear, telling him how the crowd don't appreciate him, the FA are using him or that he's too good for the team. We even had him telling the crowd to fuck off that time.

Internationals for certain people are all about their own rewards and the sponsorship deals gained through international exposure are huge. If it was the case that they gave 100% then I'd be wondering why we don't play to our full potential. As it is, I put a lot of it down to this.

Oh i think we will either be 1st or 2nd and i dont think the rags will be in top2. They'll find a way to sneak 4th though. Spuds & Dippers will fade i'm sure. At start of season i thought Chelsea or us would win it. I would now add Arsenal to that purely on their form over last 30 games and their midfield is full of goals.

Would love to see the scum manage without shrek for the rest of the season.Definitely their heartbeat, scoring and making virtually all their goals. Two today and both from shocking defensive mistakes but that seems to be how so many goals are scored nowadays.

Hull's was a fluke deflection and then LPool equalise because Davies gives a stupid free kick away and then the keeper cocks up.

Aren't Liverpool flat without Sturridge and Suarez doing nothing so far?

Playing Suarez as the only striker pushes him further up the field and "out of the game", so to speak. However, I think Liverpool are suffering more from Rodgers playing Henderson instead of Coutinho. With Suarez not coming to collect the ball in the same extent and without Coutinho there simply isn't enough creativity in their team.
