Better late than never. I even remembered the little Frenchman ;-)

Nasri

Clichy and Zabs were excellent and must start every prem game when available

I also thought Shelvey was excellent.

Zabs yes.
Clichy still has some way to go. He was MUCH better today but up until today he's been dogshite this season and he's still one of the worst crossers of a ball I've ever seen, far worse than Kolarov.
Still think we need a new left back though

I put my vote with Nasri for motm and I do so without even the slightest hesitation. Thumbs up also to the defensive effort today - pretty solid across the back and Costel dealt perfectly with anything that pierced the blue line.
If we had De Gea and the rags had Hart, we'd be top with a 9 point lead and they'd be in 12th place - that's the difference between a 'good' keeper and a 'top class' keeper - 12 places - think about it.

Can't really argue with Nasri who was phenomenal, but zaba, Lescott and clichy all deserve special mention as well.

As you'd included him this time, it would have been rude not to have voted for him.

Nasri clearly. I thought Yaya didn't show first half, but he could have been man of the second half but for Samir. Some good, unfussy distribution by Lescott too.

Good job you did too because otherwise this topic would have been pointless this week ;)

It's hard to see past Nasri. His form has been excellent this season and it's great to see him finally realising his potential.

Honourable mentions also for:
- Lescott: very composed at the back and demonstrated why he should be starting each week
- Zab and Clichy: both put in one of their best performances this season, although Clichy's crossing is still dreadful
- Milner: only on for half an hour but was superb, involved in so much of our attacking play

I too voted for the lesbian.

However, I want to take you up about your lescott comment. I thought he did so much more than simple passes. He showed a range I've never seen from him before. There was a 40m ball placed on Agueros laces that was so good it drew a round of applause.

Methinks he's been practising.

Nasri for me. But it was really good to see lescott putting in a very solid performance. With nasti out we need him.

Now for A back four of zabs, vinny, lescott and clichy, looks familiar doesn't it.

Nasri was obvious. So I voted for Demichelis just because he gets so much stick! And had an excellent game.

I have gone for Panti because if he had not made cracking saves and also made himself big to put off the lad that missed what looked like a sitter, we could have been in a bit of trouble.

The more we see of this lad, the better he seems to get and Joe is going to find it very difficult getting backin at this rate.
