Seems we have already delayed his return to ensure he is totally fit and now he's ready he just has to get back in there and hope there are no further injury problems for the rest of the season. He's a must pick now.

Yeah play him 45 mins this game, then if we are 2 up by HT, sub him and let him come on and play the full 90 against Southampton ... then rest him again in Munich and he'll be all set for the Arsenal game ... if, of course, he doesn't get injured this game and half between now and then.

I have felling if we win this one we will make a big series of wins. We just need to start and our defense to get a grip away .West Brom is good at home if we win them that will be just what we need.

I haven't been back there since we got smashed 4-0 by the shits lol, but all in all I dont mind them as it goes. It just might be the first show of our front line power away from home and as such could set up a nice little run. But we have to go at it with the best 11 from kick off, any of this resting player shit and we might end up bloody chacing the game and remaining the Jekyll and Hyde of the prem.

The other 2 were a 3-1 win against QPR and a 0-0, again, away to Chelsea. That's 2 wins and no defeats. Season 2011-12 will be what we most remember about Foy. He ref'd us 3 times, beating Newcastle and Norwich in 2 but having a major affect on the 3rd game. That was the time when he sent off Vinnie in the FA Cup after 12 mins which left us with the proverbial mountain to climb. We rallied bravely but ended up with a 3-2 defeat. Cunt! To finish on Foy, he had us 5 times the season before with an outcome of 2 draws to the Rags and Notts County (cup, which we went on to win), beat Newcastle and Bolton (away from home) and only lost to Chelsea. In all those games we have only seen 1 red (1 against) and 1 penalty (none against). Not too bad a record, don't you think? Oh, as for Brom, we've played them 7 times in the last 3 seasons and they've only beaten us once which came in the cup back in 2010-11. Since then we've won 5 and drawn 1, 2 of those wins coming at the Hawthorns, 2-1 and 2-0. Not really a bad record for each in my eyes and although he'll probably be a homer I think we'll have too much quality for them.

Beefy, all those stats don't factor in this ... Steve Clarke and his West Brom has been at the wrong end of refs this season that has cost them valuable points and against big teams ... he has said this openly himself and the FA/Premier League know this and have in fact felt the need to call him to apologise ... my concern is if they have behind the scenes asked Foy to simply even it out for them against a big team ... if Foy is to give a decision or two that helps them, everyone will quote these very stats you have put out to justify that he didn't have an agenda against us ... given our away form, all fingers will point to us and our away form instead of ref's decisions ... I'm not saying this is what will happen but simply that the FA/PL are feeling guilty towards WBA (the unprecedented sorry phone call) and if they were to ask the ref to nudge it here and there for them then what perfect time to do it, given its against a big team and on top that teams away performance is very poor anyway ... It's either this or we all agree now that we will never point fingers to refs and they never get told what to do (and how to help scum) etc but instead all their 'mistakes' are simply human errors ...

I know what you're saying mate but, for me, silly decisions would be just too obvious. I suppose nothing will be said if it happens though, as it's not being televised. It'll be put across as a load of Rich Kids bleating and justice for the Midlands Few.

I think league games generally are. It's champs league 7.45, and perhaps being a full league program on makes a difference?

Also, could for for foreign tv, as its on over in the Middle East along with every other game tomorrow ;0)

I like your thinking.

The problem is, do you still take him off at half if we're losing or don't have a nice, comfy lead? And do you risk breaking up a successful center half pairing if we're winning?....

This is a must-win

No, obviously not ... basically we have three games between now and Arsenal ... play him 1.5 of those ... that shouldn't be too much for him coming back after two months off the pitch and just about enough to get match practice/match fitness by the time we play Arse ... now to do that 1.5 out of 3 means don't play him mid week against Bayern ... and play him Saints full game, really leaves this one against WBA to play a bit part role in it ... if we are not 2 up by half time tomorrow, I'd be more worried about three points than his fitness or overwork on his return ...

I'd rest him the entire Bayern game. It means nothing.

This is how I feel and its a shame. West Brom away isn't an easy fixture and it wouldn't be the end of the world if we didn't win, but having lost so many stupid points already against stupid teams (like fucking Sunderland) we have already put ourselves in the position where we have to keep winning.

I'm nervous about these set of fixtures, with everyone playing at the same time it feels like it could be a massive important 2 hours for this season. I'm waking up at 4am to watch the game and then to go back to bed afterwards :)

Hope its worth it ><

Because that's what City, West Brom and the police have agreed!

Panti
Zab Komp Lescott Clichy (if fit)
Yaya Ferdy
Milner Nasri Beast Aguero

Navas to me is a classic old-fashioned homer and shopuld be kept on the bench for emergencies!

No away pubs near the ground, so I'll be going to The Vine which is just round the corner. Quality curry house & good beer, away and home fans welcome. Who else is going tonight? Meet for a beer?
Being a City fan is a lifestyle, a rollercoaster ride, but a bloody good one

Even if we did Daz I would like it to be after we have done a way with the first 20 of cagey crap, and jumped out the blocks at 100mph if the y hit a worldy fine, but none of this take a look crap from now until the end of the season same at places like Everton have a real go from the start. If it is a attack fest I back our forwards anyday of the week.
