Ireland and Dejong are losing the ball too much and Ades unfit. I'm more destraught about the fact we are without both Lescott and Ade in Jan though...

Completely embarassing Carl. So absolutely predictable too. We have so much attacking talent at our disposal but no clue what to do with it and that's down to one man. I think I'm more depressed watching us under Hughes than I was when Psycho was manager, taking the money spent into account - such a let down it's not true! My two pence: We started well and played very eye pleasing, but ineffective and quite risky football the first 20 minutes. Tottenham then started getting into the game and as a result created some chances. After their goal, we lost everything. We're running around like headless chickens, afraid of holding the ball, and no patience to find the right pass.

We need to be stronger in central midfield defensively and have more width going forward. I'd opt for a 4-4-2, taking Barry or Ireland off, bringing Weiss on to the right, and letting Tevez and Ade form our attack.
