Garcia is fast turning into the new Savic, I am not convinced he is as shite as many on here believe his is, however, he's now struggling to convince and like Savic it would be better now if he went somewhere else & probably turn in half decent performances

I can agree on this.

It's not just that though. This is his second go at a top club and he has flopped again. Clearly his movement and football brain gets him by in slower and less demanding league like in Portugal but he just can't deal with the pace in England and doesn't know how to adjust his game.

Maybe he'd be better in Italy where the pace is much slower. I don't know. What I do know is that he is utter shite for us and needs to go.

Re:Savic, I've seen glimpses of him here and there and he has seemed ok. No way in HELL would I have him back though and getting Nastasic in was fantastic deal. Nastasic is still learning and makes mistakes but he is ten times better than Savic.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Agree with you regarding Garcia and Savic, although I don't see how Nastasic can be considered a 'fantasic deal'.

12m for a defender who is poor in the air, hopeless in one-on-one situations, has no pace and no leadership skills is a terrible waste of money. These deficiencies in his game were there to see last year, but he was protected more by Kompany and Barry. This year, as he's had to do more actual defending, he's become horribly exposed and it has cost us goals this season. Richards and Boyata showed more promise at the same age.

I've always wanted him to prove me wrong but in last 18 months he has just increasingly looked out of his depth. If we could dupe a couple of clubs into taking Garcia and Nastasic off our hands, then they would be fantastic deals.

Correct Tokyo. He passes well and holds it well - when he can get it!

But the fact is Barry is a much better player so from that point of view Pelle has made a boo boo. Can't help feeling it was purely financial decsion from Txiki or someone.

Unload someone quickly - would anyone have taken Garcia?

That is the thing. We have got no idea who made this decision or why. It has so far proven to be a spectacularly wrong decision. If we knew it was going to be a fuck-up - and just about every person on this site called it - then...

I still waiting to find out what he does that merits a place in the Spain squad. Whatever it is, I wish he'd do it for us.

Garcia in the Spanish squad, Barry not in the England squad

Never criticise a man until you've walked a mile in his shoes.
That way when you do criticise him you'll be a mile away.
And you'll have his shoes.

It's odd and hard to fathom, I'll say that.

How can you expect Barry to make the England squad when you have the class of Cleverley and Young in there.

You bastardos, everytime I see a football chant written down I'll be imagining it sung by Hawking now.

All the inside city episodes I have watched till now :

There is always this constant presence of this one player/monkey in the circle, where you have the win the ball when others in circle pass it around

Anybody wanna guess who that is ?
