Newcastle seem to be shoring themselves up quite nicely. I like them and hope they have it in them to stay in contention for fourth.

So, the Rags are 12 points off the top and 5 off a CL spot with the top 4 still to play.

What's that song they sing, 'Always look on the bright side of life'?

I would have gone for Williamson. The top 11 candidates were all in black and white.

How unbelievably bad was Phil (Duncan) Jones and Cleverley not far behind?
Is there something in the RVP rumour or is he he just not fit?

haha great result! get in ...

Everton manager gets Everton results ... who would have thought?

Have a rag mate who is defending moyes 'us vs. them' style. Says that he just needs time, window coming up, etc ... All I said in response was, what kind of team do you think Moyes will build, and what type of player do you think he will buy in the transfer window? No response, just a look of terror. love it.

I didn't have the belief for that so it's minus 10 for me.

Between now and January they are away to villa, hull and Norwich and home to west ham.

The scum in the bottom half of the table is going on my Christmas list. A loss to villa and a draw to west ham will do it.

Also 3 years in charge of a club and pardew is the second longest serving manager in the prem......that is shocking.

That's okay, City win 3-1 and you'll be back in the points.

I have Chinese commentary, but seriously they called it "smash and grab"? This game has been pretty even.

I'll still take a draw at this point, although its hard to see United being able to score twice in half an hour. I'd be so so happy if they can hold on.

According to Owen, the whole ground stood & applauded Moyes off the pitch.

How the fuck does he know that, seeing as they'd all fucked off ? Must have seen them through the window.

Most of Utd's nearest efforst to a goal, came from blatant dives resulting in set pieces. Exactly how Moyes' Everton team used the refs to con us out of points over the years.

Great fun watching the twat struggle.

We probably need him to pick up a vicory very soon if the fun is to continue though.

If I wasn't clear I was questioning whether Owen had really said that, not that my commentators did :)

I don't understand how Owen can love Utd so much and seem to have no time for any other team he has played for. Its very weird.
