How much of Moyes's stamp is still left on the team`? How much of their current streak would you attribute to Martinez? Any info from anyone who's watched them would at least a bit regurarly be appreciated.

They've gone from aiming long balls at Felaini to play a possession based game of pass and move. You can definitely see Martinez having a big influence on the way they play. But to be fair to Gollum, the didn't have the man giant that is David Barry to build his team around.
budfox wrote:All in all a reasonable weekend for us. I think we'll beat Arsenal without difficulty, and then I think it will just be a case of keeping up the pressure. In some ways I'd rather that we were just off the pace, breathing down their necks than be top by a point or two. Clearly they are a good side, with some class players, but if we're well in the mix towards the end of Feb then I see no reason for us not to push on and win the thing.

Gareth Barry ain't that tall actually. Just 1,83. Considering he's also slow it's amazing how much height and space he takes up during a game.
Thanks for the info. It'll be interesting to see how their season pans out and then, if they will start leaking a lot of soft goals during the next season. It was always a habit that Martinez's Wigan had and I'm curiuos to see if that was a gaping hole in Martinez's management philosophy or something that came out of the fact that his style had flaws when combined with the quality of players he could acquire at Wigan.
