you should have had that tattooed somewhere

"The Three Lions will begin the finals against the Italians in Manaus. They then face Uruguay in São Paulo, and, finally, Costa Rica in Belo Horizonte."
4,300, 440 and 430 Km respectively.

then its Heathrow terminal 5 Arrivals Hall

Did I just bite?

No biting - just a genuine question - a friend and I decided to go so we have arranged flights to Rio - were just hoping we would get some England games not too far away - and looking at your email 2 of them are less than 400 miles away - which over there I think is a 'hop'

So - probably good news

Edit - to say - or did I just misread your post?

don't think so.

Games 2 and 3 are a 1 hour flight from Rio
Never criticise a man until you've walked a mile in his shoes.
That way when you do criticise him you'll be a mile away.
And you'll have his shoes.

Group E is a joke and i really start to believe what the italians said, that it was fixed.

Blatter is swiss, Platini french, they”ve changed the pot for France in the morning, the swiss were seed one and the dutch were in the second pot after they beat the crap out of Turkey, Hungary and us, Romania in their group stage. Don”t want to start about the groups the swiss had in the last two qualifiers and so on. This is a joke, i am really tired of those pricks on top of football. I won”t even start with the fact the WC will be in one of the most dangerous places in the world.

they can all go fuck themselves. This will be even worst that the one in South Africa.

Belgium for Vinnie or Argentina with Sergio scoring in the 93 minute, after a pass from Zaba or Herman.

Looking at that stadium accident has me worried. I wouldn't go unless a Finnish engineer gave me the all clear for stadium safety.

Actually some of the work sounds well rubbish so no thumbs up from here.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Only if Lescott is in the squad.

On a serious note, they must be stellar to get through this. Italy are thick as fuck, imagine if they win against England and Mario scores the decisive one.

Uruguay is one of the favourites to win it all.

And yeah, i might have to go there with work to cover the event. My boss went two years ago and was robbed at a stop sign by some 14 year old cunts with guns. Looking forward.

My mate's an architect based in Rio for the 2016 preparations. He's seen some pretty shoddy works going on while on tours around 2014 stadiums.

The first group game is played in the north in 99 percent humidity (against Italy), and will be a 3000+ mile round trip for the team from their training base, the second and third group games are roughly 400 mile round trips (so close to their camp in the grand scheme of things)

Now all they need to do is let us have 12 players, poison pirlo before the game and set up two ice machines on the touchline. And as a treat for the bleary eyed armchair fan a nice montage of ms.Limas best bits before kick off

Thanks - as BA fly to Sao Paulo we have decided to use that as a base - rooms (although very expensive) are a lot cheaper than Rio,

We will take in games 2 & 3 and then fly back - or if the unthinkable happens...............

I really can't see it happen elsewhere. I do think, however, the fallout from this and the dawning realisation on FIFA that the next two World Cups won't exactly be money-spinners for them (TV rights aside) will bring massive overhauls within the organization of the game, quite possibly for the worse.

Blatter is so worried about the issues at the next two WC venues that he would force this one through even if every stadium fell down. He makes Platini look like a great administrator.
