Blackburn have confirmed the arrest but not the charge as yet.

They really need to take these fuckers to the cleaners, pandora's box is well and truly cracked open.

When convicted all their assets should be seized including any book makers, agents or managers involved.

Looks like there has been some match fixing in the Premier League.

It is going back a few years now, but I remember being told to bet on a specific game in the Barclays Premier League. I was told a heavy defeat for one side was guaranteed. It was an end-of-the-season fixture, with nothing much resting on it. I didn’t, but was not surprised at all when the scores rolled in, and, sure enough, there had been a hammering.

Boro 8-1 City?
Final day of the season with not much resting on it. I can't think of many other end of the season hammerings right now.

That's somewhat scary. I wouldn't be suprised at all if this turned out to be us =/

This kind of fixing must have been going on for years and years anyway. Didn't Le Tissier once even admit to it on TV? I'm sure I remember him saying that he had to give away a throwin to the other team within 60 seconds of kickoff, and he thought this would be easy since he could just hoof it into the stands straight from kickoff. But his unknowning teammate managed to keep the ball in, and then he was chasing it down like a madman trying to put it into touch again.

DJ Campbell has denied match fixing & in a press statement declares himself available for the 2-2 draw with Millwall on Saturday

If anyone looks at the behaviour of jermaine pennant from the 80th minute onwards against Everton will ask a few questions. He was making stupid fouls on purpose trying to get booked. It was on 5 separate occasions until he made deliberate foul outside the box but the ref played advantage so he lunged into a ridiculous foul for the penalty.

If there was ever a player that is an ex con susceptible it's pennant

If you want a caste-iron, guaranteed, 100% certain way of making money, sell your house, sell your car (you could even sell your lady wife if you're of a mind to do so), go to every Bank in town and borrow up to the hilt from each of them and then put all these accumulated funds on Italy to win the 2014 World Cup.

Guaranteed....Simples.

Well if you're offering a guarantee.
