But seriously I think arsenal can win, I remember when we won it everybody saying 'united always finish strong' 'city have no experience' blah blah blah, what does that matter? It's about the here and now, and at the minute arsenal are getting the results they need and I can't see why that will stop happening

What good teams have Arsenal beaten yet this season? The answer is not one they could'nt beat the rags at the swamp and lost at home to Dortmund in the CL got beat at home by Chelsea in the league cup and were very fortunate not to get beaten on Sunday by Everton.I really think they will blow up again once the pressure is really on.Oh and their result in Dortmund was a freak result they scored with their one and only effort on goal.

Agree totally Gillie. Hopefully Wenger will be daft enough to leave Walcott out and make it easier, as we have problems with him

Just to play Devil's Advocate: What good teams have WE beaten yet this season? Rags but they have been pretty poor this season. Other than that?
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Their real problem is that it's hard for them to evolve from being a selling club. Still last season they relied on free kicks and aerial threats. They're miles better this season; a really good passing team.
I think we should go after Barkley.
Fully agree. If not i can see him probably going to arsenal or the scum

The bookies aren't usually wrong (unless you're Red Fred or whoever it was who paid out early ;-)) and they'll have analysed the games to come with a touch of where they think teams will exceed.
Actually that is only true with a virgin market, with a mature market weight of money decides the odds including a huge knock on to the bookies from movements on the exchanges as they will attract money from people looking to trade a guaranteed profit if they go out of line with the exchanges by much. So the odds are the cumulative opinions of the market rather than of the bookie(s) involved. An additional point,
the market is a more accurate predictor than the bookies are as historically the SP in horse racing is a much more accurate predictor of results than early prices, bookies' board prices or bookies' "tissues."
I would like to see where you have obtained evidence of that please Cratey fella. I would think that tissues have the same accuracy as SP's historically but I stand by to be corrected if possible.
Muchas gracias.

My wife's actually pregnant.
All I'm saying is that Arsenal hasn't had THAT much easier schedule than us to gloat about easy six points gap.

No they haven't, & they haven't done so much better than us either, to suggest we can't catch them over 6 months, whatever the result Saturday.
I wouldn't write off us pulling back 12 points or even more on them over half a season.

I wasn't saying that we will not catch them. In fact, I'm little bit more worried about Chelsea. Arsenal doesn't have much quality in depth and once the injuries kick in they will suffer.
However, some people are talking about us passing them like it's foregone conclusion and I don't agree with that. We need to actually gain those points.

I'm not meaning you, it's just if we drop points some folks keep proclaiming 'we have to win the next game or we're out of it...' etc etc.
I don't particularly rate Arsenal any higher than any of the other clubs near the top, including Liverpool. So far they are ahead. I'm nowhere near convinced they will stay there. The key for us is to be in contention or preferably well ahead when it all comes down to the wire imo. Lots can happen between now & then.

Eggsackly -- puns aside.
You need to get your fucking knob slobbed brother. Outsource if you must, but you cannot go on like this tightly wound coil of Finnish cock. Please. Sort it. She's basically asking you to. I've been there. Maybe. Once. Sorta. Probably. For sure.

It is a funny season.
I think basing predictions this season on statistics from previous seasons is pointless, because this season really is like no other.
The title winner might lose more games this season than any other title winner has done.It is a very open season.
