I love that weissbeir was in Munster last month on business, in fairness I didn't have a bad beer on whole trip, not like some flat headless beer in stinky lip stained glasses you get up north.

Why not? If it means, he doesn't play in the crunch game against Arsenal, it is win win, no?

Held on for a draw to qualify.Although we beat them 6 nil at our place they were at full strength this time so a draw away is a good result. They aren't noted for keeping clean sheets but got one when required

I'm made up about this.

I'm not usually big on results at that level but the fact that we started playing v European teams only recently & got pretty much dicked by everybody we played, now we are knocking Bayern out of Europe; I just think it's fantastic.

Also, the media etc were making a big deal out of Bayern having a young side out for the 1st game when there was actually only about one player different in age to our 11 man for man.

Going to Bayern needing a result, at any level, under any circumstances, is very dodgy indeed.

Well done kids. Marvellous.

If he start with Garcia they will crush us in midfield.I would start with Milner at centar with Ferna, Yaya at front with Aguero .
You can't be a real country unless you have a beer and an airline. It helps if you have some kind of a football team, or some nuclear weapons, but at the very least you need a beer.

Great experience for the lads and keeping a clean sheet when needed most is good to hear. Last season in this league ( or similar) we were awful so it's good to see progress. With this ,plus the u 21's starting to get it together and the under 18's going great guns I like the signs

Looking forward to tonight's game.We will no doubt put a weakened side out but I am most interested to see if Pellegrini sets the team up better to counter such a quality side as Bayern. We need a good solid team performance but hopefully with enough attacking quality to cause them problems. Good luck Joe Hart

Team

Hart
Richards Lescott Demi Kolarov
Milner Rodwell Silva
Dzeko Negredo

I've only gone for 10 as i suspect Garcia is likely to start and i'd sooner play with 10 men

Cant believe i'm not too bothered about result tonight. Love us to get draw or win but can't see it, (Bayern hammered Wolfsburg?7-0 away at weekend & Pep has stated no slip ups meaning a fairly strong Bayern side). If we lose, we lose. Am more concerned with Arse game and would like to see one or two young lads thrown in tonight to give them a taster.
