yes, we just beat the european champions away from home. bellends.

You're right, plus those that can't see the reality of what could have been achieved instead of trying to defend a terrible decision.

I'm absolutley exstatic over tonights reult and nothing will take it away but on a very straight lace sense we totally fucked that ending up.

Position has a huge impact and if we didn't prepare from this point of view, I don't know what to say.

Do you?

i don't believe we didn't prepare beefy, i think the count's english is better than your spanish.

I'm sure he did but I'm not sure we worked out the permutations fully and in the heat of the game it can go Pete Tong. Pellers understands and can put himself across well enough but it wasn't just his words that set alarm bells ringing, the evidence to prove his speak was his change in personnel.

Having Sergio warmimg up 'Just in case' tells you everything you need to know. If we wanted that one goal and he was the answer to the second one, he would have been on.

However, I sent my lad a text saying bring on Barca, I'm up for any of them. Maybe a bigger team is what we need.

I didn't change any tune dude ... I am simply questioning IF (and as we were) 3-2 up with almost 30 mins remaining in the game and needing just 1 more ... surely that's when you would go for it and send Aguero in and not Rodwell ... the bigger question is whether he even knew that 4-2 tops the group and he didn't need 5-2 for that ...

never mind that we've been shit in europe, lets face it, never mind that we've been shit away generally, let's face it, never mind that he might have just been boosting confidence in bit-players (WHO JUST FUCKING WON AT THE EUROPEAN CHAMPIONS) - what is his psychology...? you seem to think he's a bit thick?

Just seen this. Even if it's true I really couldn't give a shit. Blame UEFA's stupid rules.

We made the knock-out and not only did we win away, won away to The Best Team In The World™. Nothing but praise for Pellers now. Can't wait to lose the next three games.

I will tell you all this ; Barca,Real Madrid,PSG etc will be well pissed off with Pellers more than anyone else will be, as we are the team that NONE of them want to meet in the next round.

Fuck them all, we are not scared of anyone.!!
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

No one's attacking the manager. Just pointing out that it was a fucking stupid mistake. It was.

There's nowt wrong with pointing out idiocy.

Put it this way - if someone said to you before the game 'You'll beat Bayern, but instead of pushing for one more goal to top the group with a shed load of time to play for that goal you won't cos the management team don't understand the rules of the competition and think we need a different score' you'd most likely stare blankly at them, laugh, and then think they were talking shit and presume no one could make a mistake like that. You'd also laugh heartily if another manager did it.

I'm just very disappointed in that. Performance was great, yeah, but i can't be totally happy cos i know it could have been better if we'd not messed that up and we could have done something that'd have not been ultimately fruitless (cos as fun as it was winning 3-2 didnt actually mean anything in the end)..

Can't believe the nonsense I'm reading on here and all this schoolboy"they all hate us"crap. The team did well. The management, and I include everyone from the tea boy up fucked up because they assumed something rather than making sure. For what ever reason, Pellers didn't know 4-2 would be sufficient and no fucker told him, despite our 3000 game analysts and 92 million professional development people. Laughable and could easily be disastrous if Bayern get mugs and we get the best and get knocked out. Every one will be yelling then.Best bit of the game? Jimmy may have finally grown up.Why do people insist on taking an institution like City so seriously.....fecking hell the only way most of us have got through the last 40 years is by shrugging!

And i will point out that even if he did know 1 more goal would be enough if we had gone balls out for the win if they score on the break we then need 2.I'm happy with a fucking fantastic win and i am more than happy for us to take our chance of opponent in the next round in the draw.Bring on the best if we beat them at every stage of the comp we win simples.

That's totally missing the point and irrelevant. Conceding and drawing would have meant nothing and it'd change nothing. Scoring one more would have changed loads... The point is due to a lack of proper preparation they had the wrong game plan for the wrong scores. The fact is Pellegrini wanted to top the group, hence his comments about warming Aguero up, but cos he got it worked out wrong he robbed himself of that opportunity.

Absolutely fucking ridiculous mistake from the Count & everyone concerned. Possibly sackable re the stats department imo. They have only one purpose; to brief the management about stuff.

Made no difference though.

In reality, we didn't have a cat in hells chance of scoring another once Pep brought on that big useless pile of shite Martinez to tread on Silva's ankles. We had no choice but to take him off (which would have happened anyway tbf) & once they had their 6 back in midfield & our creative spark was gone, we didn't get another kick.

Did people not watch the game I have just listened to that **** Goldstein on Talksport saying swapping a striker for a midfielder was a massive mistake

Firstly Pellegrini swapped Siva for Negredo with 17 minutes to go he then swapped Rodwell for Dzeko with 2 minutes to go now you can argue about Negredo or Aguero but lets not make it out that the guy swapped Rodwell for a striker with half an hour left there was 2 minutes to go FFS

There is no fucking misunderstanding , just that he and every single fucker on that bench got their math wrong ... Un fucking believable ... cock up of the century ... if we get out of group of 16 now because of a tough draw when we could possibly be getting to QF of the CL courtesy of a relatively easier draw ... it'll come back to this night.

All of you fucking drunk on the 3-2 comeback, just be happy on that ... yes it was a good win and a great comeback but not fucking knowing what you need or what you are playing for at this level is just pathetic and a mistake of massive massive proportions.

Calm. The fuck. Down.

Stop embarrassing yourself. The count fucked up his two plus two's tonight. Whoopsy. Something that probably happens once ever.

And some of very own fans want to join in a distraction from a performance and result that announced us on.the modern european stage?

Shame on you.

Typical City.

We we're battling our arses off for an away win against easily the best team in Europe how anyone can find fault in bringing on Rodders for Dzeko to give us extra strength in midfield is beyond me.We were under serious pressure after going ahead and holding out for the win had to be the aim and to do so really was brilliant.Great result end of we should be celebrating tonight not bickering over more media negativity about City. They love knocking us down and even after tonight they had to find fault. That was a tremendous result tonight. The effort shown was outstanding.Im really proud of our team.Reading some of the comments on here you would think beating Bayern was a mere formality, wake up you clowns.
