Yeah of course. I know there are exceptions and the CL has been the main one (though i think we'll turn that around now). The FA cup final debacle is another but i do think we at least tend to play decent in the vast majority of big games. Even in defeat - the rest of the first bayern game for example where we did start to fight back, or the fight back against united where we were down to 10 men, or the chelsea game where we lost due to Hart's blunder..

Mentality I think.

We started tonight frightened & ended with no fear at all.

Took us a while to get that with the rags, but now we have it. Started in the Cup semi.

It's a team game , Edin worked hard , off camera. Honestly.

He had a good 'off-the-ball' game to be honest.

I think you are all bullshitting me. I left for work this morning with the game 15 minutes in. We couldn't get a foot on the ball and were getting absolutely dicked. Then I read all this.

Great joke. Really. Very well coordinated. How you got the Teamtalk and other websites to play along is very well executed. Nice one.

This has really riled me as its totally fucking amateur. It's cost us potentially a million or so in prize money, coefficient points and an easier draw.

No. it hasn't.

just got to watch this.

the only thing i could take from this:

if Arsenal want Micah for 10m, sell.
Kolarov should never play defense
Lescott can't play in any big, important games
We cant score against good clubs without either Nasri or Silva in the team

Pretty flat, we all thought we'd be on the end of a tonking. But then we started to play our game and hope came back.

Highlights: shutting the Bayern crowd up. The Poznan. On the way out (no segregation at Bayern on the concourses) every Blue singing 'We never win at home, we never win away' over and over again to the obvious amusement of half of Munich.

Solid team performance, picked it up well after going down 2-0. Now the question will Hart be in goal on Saturday?!

I know that , but does phips ? We had very few chances, those we got we took. Even Edin had a good shot saved in the second half. That was a hard won victory. In the end i think Bayern had 14/15 corners. Nevermind Silva, how bad are they at taking corners?

I know that the thickos at ESPN didn't mention it but both of their goals are offside. Miller is just plain off and mandzukic comes back from an offside position (but it is close)

Great win.

Milner and Fernandinho were superb last night. Zabba put the Ribery fire out when he came on and the back 5 grew in to the game after a shocking start. Edin was a decent outlet up top, and Silva brought us back in to the game. Even Garcia was functional last night in what was arguably his best game for us.

Navas put over a couple of great crosses which led to 2 goals, and was also wasteful with the ball as well - a typical winger. In short, a result we should be proud of but only City could go there with a B team, spot them a 2 goal start, win and still end up getting a kicking in the press.

Regardless of the innocence of it, for the staff and players not to know that 4-2 would win us the group - given they are paid zillions as well to know such stuff - is a bit piss poor.
