Some great football played that game.

Really? I seem to recall that not being the most entertaining and us needing a scrappy goal. My fave has to be the 4-2 adebayor game. What a game that was.

I'm with Beefy, that was a cracker of a game, end to end for the full 90, could've gone either way.

Actually just seen highlights of that match and it did seem to be a real cracker. Not sure why it never stuck in my mind.

When did we last have a player sent off in the Prem? I have a vision of a Kola/Clichy lunge at Walcott at some point resulting in the ref trying to even things up?

Hopefully it will be when we are 3-0 up but for some reason I have a worry down our left side if Walcott starts.

I sense a massacre:

Arsenal to go on the attack at Man City - Arsene Wenger
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger says attack could be the best form of defence when his side take on Manchester City at the Etihad on Saturday.

The Gunners are currently top of the Premier League, six points ahead of City who have a 100% home record in the league this season, scoring 29 times in the process.

Wenger believes an Arsenal win will convince many that they are title contenders, and says although City have a very strong squad, he does not envy them.

Mario against the Arse at thiers, April 2012 wasnt it? Mind you his performance during that game meant he wasnt really missed I seem to recall - he had a real stinker on. Lost 1-0.

You were watching united at the time.

chortle.

I was at that game and it was non-stop, end-to-end stuff. Absolutely gripping.

I really hope the powers that be (Fergie) aren't feeling that we are due one this weekend. I feel Kolarov has been close to one for a while now and Clichy never fills me with confidence when someone with pace is going at him. I'd like to see Lescott sitting behind just to act as cover as I still don't trust Demichelis on that side yet.

I trust him over Demi. I think we will win this game but something is telling me we will concede a penalty or get someone sent off. We are due!

He wasn't missed because he was sent in the last minute. You're right though he did have a stinker on and was lucky not to be sent earlier in the game for a nasty one on Song.

Must must win with bells and knobs on.

Time for our big players to man up, show up and repair the damage of earlier cock-ups.

Win and we are right back in it. Lose and we are in a hopeless spot, 9pts back. Come on City.

Apparently there have been six red cards in the last six Premier League meetings between City (4) and Arsenal (2).

Be nice to finish with 22 on the pitch then!

Really looking forward to the game , but not getting carried away.

They have the players to really hurt us and I think it will be very close.

Midfield will be the key , they will play 3 , I will leave it to Manuel because that what he gets paid for!

if he plays hart il be livid, every time hes played since we concede more than 1 and his distribution is atrocious.

panti was beaten by an unstopable goal.

hart plays and they score 2+

Arse should be totally knackered but if we give them time on the ball and space they could expose our shaky defense. gonna be a close one.

Just a quick question - is there a limit to the number of players that can be sent off before a match is abandoned?
cheers

Not sure on a specific ruling on the number of sending offs but a team has to have at least 7 on the field or its abandoned.
