Ferna, is such a down to earth chap going through his post match video, Yaya should have given him the penalty kick for his hattrick.

For Yaya it was just another goal, city looked comfortable, but it might have been big for Fernandinho.

Cannot go against the grain and vote anyone other than Fern today, covered the pitch clinical passing and what a wonder first goal (and the second was a peach too and could have got a hat trick) - he's really getting to grips with the PL and how the team plays. Immense.

Thought Silva, Zabba, Koms and Nasri were on to form today too!

Milner and Jesus where excellent when the cane on and Swung the game back into our favour when we needed it.

One was forced but great subs by the boss - well played Pellers!

Fernandinho - Outstanding and one of the best performances I have ever witnessed.

So glad I got it wrong with this guy early in the season and thought he was an overpriced Gelson Fernandez.

Such a classy performance x Ferd. Goals aside he made some very good players look ordinary. We must remember Arse a a genuinely good side but humble by our forward play. Credit to the manager.

I still feel that whoever is the designated taker (aguero had obviously long since departed with his calf injury of course) should take it as we need to maintain the right level of professionalism. If Ferna had taken it and missed it would have taken the shine of his deserved MOTM performance.

Also by the look of the celebration with Yaya when the ball hit the back of the net, he certainly didn't appear upset in anyway.

He destroyed Chelsea in last seasons champions league. He should have left the Ukraine 3 or 4 years ago.

They were, and he showed great confidence in taking them. What a player this guy is turning out to be!
