Tasty.
Arsenal in trouble. Chelsea could be upset. United drawing a side that probably has to use Easyjet to get to the swamp.
We've got a truly tasty tie. Best make sure there is plenty of money in the bank account for a ticket.

If we can put 6 past Barca in the first leg I think we'll have a pretty good chance at progression.
For me this is the ideal draw for us, it lets us really measure just how far Pelligrini has taken this team. We aren't expected to beat Barca over 2 legs, but if we can knock them out somehow then City would start finally being considered one of the elite sides of Europe. Which would be nice :)
We'd still be classed as very lucky.

Fuckin love, Yaya will be well up for that one. Delighted we got one of the big guns and we can definitely do them.
What a tie that's gonna be.

Seems a bit pointless going for Messi in the January window now as he will be cup tied
Arsenal have gone from 16/1 to win the Champions League before the draw to a best priced 40/1 after drawing Bayern Munich

Still 'rehabilitating' I hear? Barca not quite what they were.

We can't really lose with this tie:
Should be great games to watch and if we win that will be huge, if we lose then there is no shame losing to FCB and we focus on the PL for rest of season.

Quite happy with this draw. We will measure up against one of the best. I know we can take them and we have the advantage of playing home first leg. Full force!

Get a cracking goal difference at the fortress to take away and maybe hope Naymar falls down some steps over the new year!

Well that will make any January transfer window shopping a tempting prospect for any CB and GK we might be trying to get on board!

Wonder who ITV will pick as their main match? Scum v Olympiacos no doubt at all.

Cannot find the fixture on MCFC site - anyone know when the away leg is - I want to book flight and hotel before prices start to rise
Thanks

I'm happy with that draw. We can take them, their defence isn't all that. It will also be great to see Messi, xavi, iniesta, neymar all play in the flesh.

Give 'em chance mate.
Seeing Soriano and Begiristain dont speak to them it may need some arranging!

If nothing else, this will give little room for criticising Pellegrini *if* we go out. Win and it's amazing, lose and it was Barca so no real harm done.
The draw has gone a long way to helping his future imo.

Had a feeling it would be Barca and am happy with this draw.
I'm a bit annoyed that scum drew what probably is the weakest team still left in the competition. I would hate to see them getting further int he competition than us. On the flip side, it owuld be hilarious if they were knocked out by Olympiakos.
