Quite enjoyed that. A scrappy 3-1 with some decent goals.

That would've been an amazing victory a few years bavk.

True, but most on this board wanted Boyata to start and not risk Zabba - who we don't really have cover for with Richards also injured - frustrating the manager did t see the risk.

I don't know if I'm more disappointed with Zaba's injury or with the Count's decision to pick him. He rested Zaba away at Bayern in his original selection but picks him against Leicester

I suppose the main talking point will be Zab's injury. I have no problem with him playing as he's usually made of nails and think Pellers wanted to give a nice blend so that it wasn't a 100% change.

Risks will always be taken and in the big scheme of things Zaba wasn't one of them. He is usually the safe bet when it comes to stamina and being clear from injury.

The old saying 'Shit happens' springs to mind here and if we can't get by Fulham without him then we're not has good as I think.

Very true but I'd suggest they should be worrying about us.

I agree Beefy.

Dippers have big players injured too . Milner or even Clichy to play right back against them for me , as for Fulham , Palace , Swansea and Blackburn any fucker could slot in there tbh . Zab is made of tough stuff , lets hope he is back sooner rather than later and like i posted earlier ........ another semi final , HAPPY DAYS :-)

Anyone watching chelsea vs sunderland in extra time?

chelsea are getting bossed around and sunderland have had 2-3 close calls to win it. Chealsea look really weak in defense, a bit toothless, and just plain disjointed. Not what you'd expect from Mourinho since they have a good amount of 1st team players out there

Chuffed with the result and the team selection.

Zabs injury not good but that can happen at anytime. Milner superb, Silva class, Dzeko clinical.

Can we please be drawn away in the semis of this comp just for a change please.

supds made the dippers look much better than they are. high line defense meant it took all of 5 seconds to get in behind them. It will be a tough game if we don't keep track of the biter but not overly worried at all. The fact is that they can't stop us scoring even if we just move into 2nd gear.

And look at that!!! Chelsea probably heading out from that same asian who got the late offside goal vs us last season

Wouldn't surprise me if he's sat on the bench for Fulham and 1st on the team sheet for the Dippers, he's just that sort of bloke.

Pellers has just said on radio that Zaba has a hamstring injury but obviously won't know the full extent of the problem for a couple of days. Sounded like Rodwell had a good game which is great news.

It may have been devised before the game to give Fulham and the Dippers a boost, only to see him stood there, on the pitch, ready to pounce ;-)

It's two legs, I'd be more than happy. Our players will be up for that nearly as much as scum after recent results.

Anyone tell us how Rodwell did? He would be a real plus to have firing on all cylinders ....
