Time For A Jinx - City's 1st Pot Of The Season

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Time For A Jinx - City's 1st Pot Of The Season

Postby walmai » Tue Dec 17, 2013 10:31 pm

I reckon that's in February personally, specially now your main 'worries' are Feeling the Moyes in the semi's.

That's not to say you're not looking tasty enough in the league too.

The consensus around the office I work in is that Barca is too close to call. Certainly not what you'd have thought with Mancini still in the dug-out.

Don't know how much it is the new signings, or whether its just a feel good factor in Pellegrini, but its safe to say that you're fast becoming again other fan's most enviable team. Goals galore. A ST at The Etihad must be dreamland at the moment.

You'll have scared Arsene witless with that performance last week.

So, thanks and all, but, if, MASSIVE IF we put Spurs to bed tomorrow night, I pray we don't draw you next.

Pray for me. I'll be bottom tier - amongst 4000 other travellers with OB cameras monitoring our every chant.

Happy Christmas, Citizens!

Good to hear from you mate, always a welcome face, as they say.

It's still very difficult for some of us to hear that it's a close call between us and Barcelona, pinching ourselves all the way.

Good luck tomorrow, I hope Sherwood's eating shit tomorrow night, literally.

shit there's still 7% of us that are highly dissatisfied, according to the survey. From what I understand, beating Barca at home wouldn't do it either ... we'd have to do it away by 3 goals and it'd better be at least the 5th away game we've won in a row, conceding non from now till then.

Ask a Spurs fan what time the Kick off is, when pipes up 87.45, just remark you heard it was every 15/20 mins.... Good look to the Hammers..

Greetings our favourite 'Ammer

Thanks for the glad tidings and I think I speak for many when I wish you boys well. All a bit at sea currently but hopefully will get sorted either with or without BFS.

It's nice to hear an unjaundiced view of what it must be like watching City as a non-supporter currently. I can remember going to Highbury a lot during the Henry/Bergkamp/Pires era and just loving watching the football on show even though it wasn't my team. I didn't realise before then how nice actually watching decent football "live" when you weren't emotionally involved could be. I'm sure I'd feel similarly watching City this year if I wasn't blue.

Good luck mate and have a great Xmas

All the very best you and good luck tonight. I reckoned you might beat Spurs pre the sacking with a solid defensive performance but not I think there is a big chance Sherwood will get a tune out of them and see you off.Hope not as long as we get you in the semi.

Love West Ham to hammer the Spuds. Always had a soft spot for them since Morley & Bishop went there
