Pellegrini is doing better than any of the characters currently in top jobs in the Prem, & is considerably better than Mancini imo, but I doubt he will keep everyone happy.
It's probably best that one or two players move in & out of the club anyway though. Keeps things fresh.
I think Tevez was a great player for City & he looks great now for Juve, but we don't miss him as I thought we would, & as for Balotelli, I now just wonder what the fuck we were doing with him at the club. Negredo is twice the player Balotelli was.
Well, our academy must be doing well to not even get a spot on an empty seat. Correct me if I'm wrong but I can only remember Lopez getting a run-out from our current crop which says that
none of the rest are upto standard. If they can't grab an empty seat in the League Cup where will they get the chance.
As for Mancini/Pellers, there's no real need to pit both against each other. Horses for courses and all that with one winning us trophies and the other I have big hopes for. Hughes laid the foundations, Mancini built up the walls. The furnishings are already in place and Pellers is now thatching the roof for many years of happy living. Different living, different times, but it's turning out nice again.
As for doing the best job, he could be but it's arguable that the top of the league is doing the best job, and those above us. The only difference is we're still in all cups while they have dropped out of the lesser. He'll do for me though, especially if we keep up our current form. Would I change him for any other manager in the league? Would I fuck.
