I love Aguero, but Suarez is just on another level this season.
He has 19 goals in half a season, which considering he missed the first 5 or 6 games is startling.
Possibly the most technically gifted player I've seen in the PL, up there with even the likes of Henry and Ronaldo.

So I take it aguero no longer has the title of best goals to minute ratio ever seen in the premier league then?

At the moment Suarez is scoring over 50% of Liverpool's goals. It can't be doubted he's in astonishing form, but I'd be surprised if he did it here.

As someone has already pointed out, Tevez had a year and a half where he was clearly the main goal threat and he had one of the best records in world football. Once we got in some competition and the goals were spread around he returned to having a good strike rate.

The 50% ration is totally amazing (Aguero has scored around a quarter of our goals in comparison), and suggests he's either now up their with Messi and Ronaldo, or he's a superb player who has a team built around him. Rodgers has already said that he sold Carroll to build the team around Suarez, so I think the latter might be the case.

It might be an odd comparison but remember SWP scored 17 league goals in his last couple of seasons for us. Then just 4 in his three seasons at Chelsea. At City he was the main man, but at Chelsea just one of many.

Come on, you're better than that.
That's certainly a valid means of comparison but by no means does it mean Aguero is undoubtedly better and we should end the debate there.

Otherwise, there would never be a debate about two strikers. We would just look at their goals to minutes ratio.
Two seasons ago, Aguero was better, last season Suarez was, this season it's been more even, but Suarez has scored 6 more and assisted 2 more in fewer games.

I've seen Aguero score with shots from outside the box, just not as far out as Suarez' Norwich goals. :)

Mine was purely a response to someone else saying suarez couldn't score the type of goals aguero can... I'm judging them on what they have done in the last couple of seasons. Not what they've done in the last 7 years altogether. Right now at this moment suarez is better.
