Shit - four of my players got injured in mid-week and I don't fancy playing the wildcard yet.

There again, I'd probably be happy if some of the buggers who are fit managed to get a big fat zero this week (Bramble against scum - jeez).

I don't fancy it much this gameweek - I've got no Arsenal boys and only Stevie (c) from our lot likely to start (onuoha will be bench...). I'd be happy with 40-60 points which is shite for a saturday - although i cleaned house on Wednesday (Defoe, Torres and Lampard (c) me).

Also, glad the rag pickers got some comeuppance at Burnley, but frankly the ban should be permanent; it's slimy play having one of those turds in there.

Regardless of the rules of the MCF league it is wrong and immoral to have any scum in your side.

Surely the rules shouldn't be the only thing preventing you from putting rags in your team?

Kick them out!! and punish them by making them put some crap players in the team for 4 games! they have already made points and influenced the league for the rest of the season so kicking them out until they remove them is not enough of a punishment, points need to be lost!!
Q. Which is your favourite goal? A. It has to be the second goal I scored during the last-ever Maine Road derby. I heard the fans singing a new song: "Who let the Goat out?" and I thought, "I'm having that one!" Eyal [Berkovic] placed a perfectly weighted pass into my stride. I held off two defenders and the ball bounced in front of me, allowing me to make a gentle half-volley over Barthez. It was my 100th goal for Man City and particularly satisfying to score against Man Utd.

Well done to top three.

Shocking to see two of the previous winners Glasgow Man City and certain Discopant's Select there at lowly 22 and 23 out of 127 teams. It's like Liverpool's fall.... you still get to UEFA Cup but what a disappointment.

Personally I got off to SHIT start and most of the punts I took before the season didn't pay off. In the end I finished fairly respectable around 460k mark but to think I was once 95th in the whole world..... that's just shit.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

This previous winner came 3rd, but was a long way off challenging at the top. And that was partly because I never put Tevez in because I was too scared I would jinx him!

And Dubciteh, I agree - I love a bit of fantasy football. There's bound to be a world cup game, then before you know it we'll be doing this all over again.

Congrats to the winner!

I'm quite ashamed. Usually I stick it out for all the season, but this time I lost track and interest already in September/October. Hence the 97th spot. But at least I beat Blue Boy Lewis.
