This is not my best effort, and there are two reasons; first of all I am stuffed full of food and tired, and the other is that I can’t bear to read the utter drivel on RAWK. We really need to make a statement tomorrow evening to shut everyone up, and the thing is I know we will.

COME ON CITY....I want this more than any other

Team Selection

Mignolet
Johnson
Flanagan
Sakho
Skertel
Lucas
Allen
Coutinho
Henderson
Sterling
Suarez

My Favourite

I predict fucking bedlam.

And the rest...

Boxing Day games can throw up some real surprises.

2-0 to us, I can feel it

City at the Etihad. Probably the toughest fixture of the season.

I haven't watched that much of City, but I caught the MOTD yesterday and they were showing Dimichellis' lack of movement and poor positional play, and how it effected the match against Fulham even though they won. Combined with Clichy playing RB and Kolarov at LB....well Suarez could have a lot of opportunities, to say the least.

City's defense is as "leaky" as ours. They let in the "mandatory" 2/3 goals each game...

We can score, we just need to be organised. Their not too deadly at corners though.

IMO Silva is the best player we will come up against this season. Still doesn't get the credit for some reason. Pressing him hard and making sure we track runners around him is key.

It'll be mad. No idea how it'll go. Excited as hell, though.

Not worried, we have this covered. City will get served.

It will go down in history as one of the best games of Premier League era. Im going for 4:3 to Liverpool (Toure, Dzeko, Negredo - Suarez 2X, Coutinho, Sakho).

lets smash them!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am a 100% sure we will play 3 at the back in this one. Reason being, City's flying wingers in Navas and Nasri. Glen and Flano will have to get a lot of support from either their side of CB or Lucas. If we stifle their wing play, we can come up with points from this.
Hat trick from Suarez I reckon. A long range worldy from Henderson in the 90th minute to give us the win 4-3.

Sterling will have a big part to play here I think. If he can get in between Kolarov and Demichellis with his pace and clever movement whilst Kompany is tied up with Suarez I can see the youngster finding himself 1v1 on at least two occasions

Here's the problem with city.At the moment its fair to say our attack is monstrous. You can't sit back against us and hope to win. We will undo you and the game will be gone before you can adapt.

To beat Liverpool right now you have to outscore us. The problem is city are one of the 2-3 teams in the league well capable of doing so.

We will score goals, they will score goals. It all depends on who gets more. Their attack is better than ours, but I'd say our defence is slightly stronger at the minute, so it should be one hell of an entertaining game.

I know all about Negredo, I wanted him here at Liverpool for years. We were linked to him back when Benitez was in charge and I said at the time that if we signed him, he'd prove to be the 'missing link' we spent so long searching for - his potential was evident even then. His performances at City have sadly proved me right i believe.

Just saw that James Milner described Suarez as "having a pretty good season".

We're Liverpool; they're City. Let them worry about us

City/Chelsea utter bellends of clubs. Slave owning c*nts. So glad we don't have those type of tyrant owners. The day we do, I'm out

Listen, Man City are an incredible force at home, but I really think our current set-up is the ideal away team. If we don't make any sloppy errors in defence, we will get something out of the game

Think this will be goals galore...

The fans are so deluded. I can't abide the dippers and the fans are a big part of that. Hoping we smash them just because we can

Fucking liar and hypocrite. First they tried the "We have the moral high-ground. We don't spend money." bullshit. Then they realised that they would never make it to the top 4 without FSG money, so now they change the goal-posts and complain about something else. Rawk is a complete shithole. They have no qualms abusing Suarez in the summer and now turning around and backing a racist on the pitch and enjoying the wins he brings them.

According to Transfermarkt, the Dippers have spent over 400 million in the last 6 years!

Never yet had a balanced football discussion with a dipper. Only this week we were discussing citys game and Negredos assist came up in conversation. From nowhere a dipper fan came up with "well, Suarez does better than that every week. He is by far the best player in the world at the moment." couldnt believe my ears and when i said we were talking about Negredo, not Suarez he just spouted some shite that we'll get a lesson on Boxing Day. Its all about liverpool and 'their way' with the dippers. Despite 'their way' being shit for years. Clueless

We know; we will. That's why you'll all be searched on the way out rather than the way in.

As for slave owners. Our City has a statue of Abraham Lincoln in it that was sent by the Americans because we stood by them and against the slave trade. Their City was built on the slave trade. That's the difference between words and actions, as they'll discover tomorrow evening.

Take a look at the Rawk thread on our game..... my god!!

I understand them being confident in suarez vs demicheles, but the rest of it is beyond delusional. Seriously. Beyond delusional.

Writing down our win vs arse as mostly individual mistakes from the arse back line...

Multiple people referencing bayern's win vs us and believing that proves our midfield is vulnerable vs the scouse. Actually comparing the scouse team to bayern!!!

And most of all: the vocal majority of scouse fans think that jordan henderson and joe fucking allen are just as good as yaya and fernandinho!?!?!? Jesus christ...

Liverpool seems to be some bizarre bubble from reality and it would be great if we could pop it tomorrow. I hope we smash them worse than spuds. Probably won't happen, but even if it did, scouse fans would be no less delusional than they are now.

Merry xmas!

where I work there's about 6 or so scum fans and 3 bin dippers, out of the scum fans only one to be fair is such a prick its not worth trying to talk about football but all 3 of the scouse dicks are beyond help. Nothing seems to get through to them and theres no point in trying to reason with them over football, I really hope we do turn the fuckwits over and it doesn't have to be many just as long as we do.

Nope, have a tenner on us to win 3-0. Their defence and midfield won't cope with our intensity and it's inevitable Suarez will score.

Jeez, I always forget why I hate Liverpool winning matches. The RAWK thread is a bit of a joke, literally 2 weeks ago they were all saying they would probably get smashed at City, and then after beating Spurs 5-0 they are suddenly the best team in the league and big favourites for this game.

I'm not saying we will win for sure, but Liverpool fans are SO quick to suddenly believe they have the best team and will win the league. They are unbelievable.

Hope we murder them !
