Just watched the final 10 minutes. I've been reading all day about how unlucky the dippers were and how they deserved something out of this game.

Bullshit!! We looked more likely to score. Had the game gone on another 10 minutes we would have.

Skrtel defended very well though and prevented this being a smashing.

Thankfully I missed Owen but had the "pleasure" of listening to Paul Walsh saying every 5 seconds how Liverpool deserved to win based on the chances they had. From looking at the stats City had 6 on target from 20 and History FC had 5 from 12 - work that one out Walshie...............

I normally laugh at people saying they want to complain to sky etc, but that game had me close.

The problem with the media at the moment is that we're playing their favourite clubs and going on to beat them. All the pundits are ex-Rag/Dipper/Arse players and they are now making a living by sucking up to the former top clubs. Beating them makes it even worse so they have to portray it as if each of the teams we beat were unlucky and should've somehow got something out of the game. It's the only way to keep the hoards happy.

What's surprising is that so much was made of the Suarez penalty call yet nothing much was made of Skyrtl having the shirts off our backs at every set piece, even though they replayed it mid-match. Just goes to show that there's definately a bias towards certain clubs, not necessarily an agenda against ours.

to be fair shearer pointed out that if suarez should have had a pen, then kompany should have had 2 or 3. Don't know if you were referring to BT sport or media on general though.
