Well, Pullis set out his team like he always set up with Stoke - 11 men behind the ball at all times when we had possession. The difference with Palace and Stoke is they were more athletic and better players overall. They regularly threatened to catch us on the break and nearly did - thanks to Harts tremendous saves and bravery we kept a clean sheer - if we'd have conceded it would have been an iron curtain not a bus we'd have been up against - and that meant we couldn't throw everyone at them.

Palace were very well disciplined and worked very hard to restrict our forward options to almost nothing - a true brick wall and getting any chances was only due to so e great play by Ferdi, Silva, Navas and Later in the game Nasri and Negado.

In my opinion it was a 'mock' run for when Chelsea come visiting.

A brilliant win, i disagree that we 'won ugly' it was hard work to get anything through their defence and it was going to be a piece of genius or a mistake to break through them.

Job done at the end of the day, top of the table and a few key players given a decent rest.

They were too busy shoving families and children out of the way so they could get onto the tram whilst laughing about it after the game mate - one supervisor didn't appreciate having a strip torn off him after almost crushing a kiddy as he did it.

who was getting abuse today?. i cant understand whilst we all have reservations about some players why any genuine mcfc supporter would abuse any of our players.

The commentators mentioned that Dzeko was getting some abuse during the match and even though he'd scored that the crowd didnt really like him.

I don't get the purpose of it myself, putting your team down mid-match doesn't help anybody in my opinion. It doesn't change though, some mentalities are ingrained and they will complain about anything and everything. One minute it's Kolarov, next it's Lescott and the flavour when it's all going wrong is Dzeko. Fuck, I've even heard things said of Sergio and Yaya which I cannot fathom out. These people were either Pele's of the game or have never kicked a ball in their life.

Edin was getting stick from around me from "supporters" in situations where there was nothing he could have done. He moves back post for a cross which is hit badly to the near post and the groans come out cos he doesn't fly to the near post. He's just gets stick now because he is on the field.

I think it's one of those things we just have to accept mate. I always support the team no matter what and if I ain't got something positive to say (unless I'm slagging the ref etc) then I keep my mouth shut. Everybody's different I suppose but it's something I just don't get.

Maybe it's their own inadequacies/insecurities coming out.

You're a fucking idiot. It's Garcia first, second, third and fourth, then whoever after that, then back to Garcia for some more.
