Le Tis would be my favourite non-city player.

Nigel De Jong, still can't believe that he is gone.

I also like Zabba a lot from the current crop along with Vinnie and the beast. My fav as a kid was David White, he was ace, I also loved Niall Quinn, Lakey, Uwe and Keith Curle. I loved watching the blues in the 90s.

My Fav players for each position. Sorry none from 60s and 70s as only started following in 1980 age 7. The 80s were shit!

I'd swap Goat with Rösler and I'd have to think hard between Curle and Hendry but that's it.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Was a tough call to leave out Uwe but Goat has a special place in my heart. To be fair there are lots of players who have missed out but you can't have them all and in the 442 formation I had to be strict whilst thinking of the balance of the team. Lake for example. Quinn another.

Curle over Hendry every day for me but Mick McCarthy gets an honourable mention.

SWP. Loved the little fella

But Silva is just amazing. I love watching him play. And Vinnie, what a defender he is. He is the complete package as far as defenders go.
and Zabba gets a mention from me, what a warrior. And not only that. I felt Saturday showed how much we missed him making those runs on the right side

I seem to remember Curle slagging us when he left for Wolves as well. The Coton/Curle years were the years during which I first had my season ticket as a boy, but I've got little love for any of the personnel from that era if I'm honest.

Uwe, yes, but he was a little bit later. Used to like Walsh and Quinn but don't care about either these days. Used to hero worship Flitcroft before he ditched us for Blackburn. Liked Coton before he went dark side.

These days favourite guys (if not 'players') from that team are probably Ian Brightwell and Richard Edghill.

On the whole, I reckon the boys who dragged us up from the doldrums during 1998-2000 should be remembered much more fondly; chiefly Morrison, Wiekens, Goater, Dickov and - to a lesser extent bearing in mind his lack of discipline and wasted talent - Weaver.

They lacked the talent of the early 90s boys but they didn't half serve the club well.

seconded, but King Colin was a worthy runner up/City fave and honourable mentions for Corrigan, Barnes and Watson.

Current bunch has to be Silva and he would top the modern era for me but with honourable mentions for Kinky, Ali B and Sweep.

As a kid I loved coton, Quinn and white. Also from other teams shearer, le tiss and Roberto baggio.

Didn't see us mid 90's. So after that it was SWP, dunne and distin.

More recently I'd say Micah. Robinho, tevez, silva, yaya, Vinny, zaba and Aguero.

My current favourite is David Silva for his accomplished and impeccable technique, although in the overall popularity stakes Negredo is starting to 'breathe down his neck'.

My all time favourite is still the great Bert Trautmann, who was the reason I became 'City daft' in the first place.
