What do you think are the odds for the quadruple, I'm not getting ahead of myself thinking we'll do it but just out of curiosity. Also what if you factored winning all our home Prem games in to the equation as well?

Despite excellent results recently I still think we are prone to defensive errors and blunders. A few of those errors are going to cost us, there will be more defensive mistakes.
In truth We still need a partner for vinny and a better left back. But easier said than done.

This was mentioned in another thread and how certain other out of town supporters are using it as a stick to flog us by. The truth is that even a double is very difficult and with all the games that 4 different competitions hold, playing som many games takes its toll and any team could end up walking away empty handed due to fatigue.

How many clubs have won a quadruple?

How many clubs have won a treble?

Not many.

No t a chance in a zillion we could get a quadruple. One will do me fine as long as it's on of the big ones. Our squad is a good one but not s good as some would make out.

The team that was at top in January for last four seasons has won the league - that isn't us, so talk of quadruple is very very premature

Close to zero I reckon. Let's be honest, the chance to win the Champions League this season is slim enough as it is, never mind another 3 trophies on top of it, especially with the league being this close/unpredictable.

Just one cornetto.

Just goes to show though how far the Club has progressed.
When I first joined this site a quarter final place would start a nosebleed.

Its been said many times but once again, thank you Sheik Mansour for making the outrageous seem less outrageous.

Guys please don't get me wrong, I'm not saying we will at all but wondered if anyone had seen any odds?

As Beeatch on Ice says, this shows how far we have come since HRH Sheik Mansour took over......stunning :-)

William Hill will offer you roughly 418/1.

The only thing I really want us to win this season is the League, especially if we can do it by breaking a few scoring records on the way.

A good run in the CL would be nice (especially if we could get past Barcelona in fine style) but that would only be icing on top of the cake.

Same with the FA Cup and League Cup (or whatever it's called these days).

However, for myself, it's the Premiership every time and I hope the Cup competitions don't divert us.

Let's look at it realistically ...

League Cup

Already in semis ... against a side battling relegation (with stated goal, that is their priority and not the cup) and with semis being two legged, really we should get through to the final ...

In Final, we could face Sunderland or the Scum ... it's a one off game and given refs going against you that day or something could too it to the opposition but I think especially how our boys returned from Wembley last time around, they'll be up for it and this first one is very winnable ...

FA Cup

This one if we get draws like last year, all easy except semi final, we should again make our way through till the end ... however we don't know anything in this yet as we haven't even played the first game of the cup yet ... Blackburn Rovers away should be a winnable game so I'm looking forward for the next round draw ... let's see who we get. But given how Pellegrini treated LeagueCup, don't expect him to not take FA Cup seriously and I expect us putting out serious teams for this ...

Premier League

Too close to call ... we all expected Arsenal and Liverpool to fall off the top spots by now but they haven't ... ok ok Liverpool is 5th but just two games could change it all around. The filth is just two points behind them and they have been shit all along ... so very unpredictable. To win it we need to seriously create a little gap at the top from the second lot (i.e. the teams in 3/4/5/6 places ... then we can fight it out with one other team whoever that he (Arsenal or Chelsea) in the March/April/May ... but if it stays this close all the way towards end of March then anyone could slip one game and that could cost 3-4 positions in the table and I'm afraid that might be us then given we'll have some crucial away games in that period (Everton, Liverpool, Arsenal) ... so I'm looking at creating a little cushion from the rest at the top in Jan and Feb ... if that happens, we'll have a good chance taking that to the end ... if it doesn't then it'll be anyone's title come May.

Champions League

Barca is the biggest hurdle ... looking at Chelsea and Scum's next rounds they should be in the QF pots and if Arsenal can somehow knockout Bayern then it will look quite doable next stage on. If we get through Barca this round, next round on its free for all draw, meaning we could draw another English team too, and if that happens I do fancy us going past any of them over two legs, so doable yes why not ... but all depends (like the FA Cup) what draw we get ... But first of course is getting through Barca ...

So back to the initial question, is quadruple possible ... yes, anything's possible ... will it happen? Maybe, all depends on draws in two of the four ... luck with injuries etc. ref decisions etc. all in all it's a lottery at this stage.

A domestic treble (LC, FA, PL) looks more doable to me right now and having said that two out of those three is realistic right now ...

Another very crucial bit in all this is how Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool and Scum do in this January window ... and do we sit on this squad which has had fair bit of injuries etc and how will they all cope with them towards the business end of the season ...

Although there's nothing wrong with dreaming, there's absolutely no chance of winning a quadruple. I'd take the Capitol One Cup along with the league, but the league is the one I'd like most.

I'd settle for one.

Did you see any odds for a double or treble of any permutation. Imagine a double is quite low as we are very likely to be in league cup final and we are favs for Prem. A treble at say 50/1 is worth a cheeky couple of quid as if we assume we'll win league and probably league cup, then 50/1 for fa cup not a bad shout. Of course it could go tits up in League cup semi but a £1 or £2 domestic treble is worth a punt. I know its highly unlikely but so is most gambling but its only a bit of fun

Haven't seen any individual odds for the four competitions we're involved with, but I wonder if something like a £1 'Yankee' might be a viable option.

Also, by excluding the CL and concentrating only on the Domestic Trophies, a 'Patent' might be a reasonable choice.
