Jovetic isn't match fit. See Doug's training report. Clearly Pellegrini doesn't fancy Guidetti who's presumably going on loan very soon. We desperately need Jovetic fit and playing starting at least on the bench on Wenesday. I agree with Ted that having Lescott and Boyata on the bench doesn't make a lot of sense except that Aguero and Jovetic aren't available. With Silva out too we haven't got a match changer excepting Milner although we've got plenty of choice if we need to hold a lead late in the game.

I believe Pellers wanted someone big strong and good in the air to play alongside Negredo, so that's why Lescott is on the bench.

In no way is he better than Lescott, however that's not to say Lescott should be on the pitch either. I actually like Demi Moore than both of them, while he has weaknesses he is an all around decent defender.

Nasti has potential, but at this point I'd rate him no better than Boyata.
